Easily your best one yet. You cut the fight in half and never let up. The creativity on display is especially awe inspiring here, because your use of the non-melee form changes like Double Arrowguns and Magic Launcher were something I doubt any other player would try against Yozora. And it’s also your best and cleanest fight finish to date
@@boyishdude1234yeah but that’s what separates the men from the boys. It’s Maka’s decision to use less optimal but equally viable strategies to show people things they haven’t seen or done for themselves with this level of confidence and execution that make his freestyle videos so much fun
@@myleswithay1362 But if it can be done with Ariel with a fraction of the effort and the outcome is the same, doing it with Stitch is just pointless flare rather than a meaningful choice. It's the KH2 problem of having multiple ways you can use Ars against a humanoid boss, but one of them is objectively more correct than the others in all cases.
@@boyishdude1234 It's not pointless, cause the flare IS the point. Efficiency is not the point. That's why most of Maka's videos have Style in the title.
@@ZiexCee Just because you can do something if you feel like it doesn't mean there's a point in doing it according to the design itself. Focusing on being stylish is a subjective motivator that has nothing to do with what the game's design actually incentivizes. Part of the reason I think this video, in particular, is a decent showcase of the game's mechanics is that it is decidedly _not_ just stylish. Nearly everything he does connects attack strings in ways that make sense mechanically in a melee-heavy strategy, barring using Stitch to dodge the mechs since there _was_ a far better decision to make for dealing with them and he gained *nothing* out of using Stitch instead. The way he does extra damage when Yozora isn't able to be staggered is both mechanically and visually impressive, but the stylish display was incidental to the way his moves logically connected and the reasons he made those decisions. To go back to what I mentioned about the weak point being how he dealt with the Gigas, dodging Yozora's mechs by gliding in a circle via moving the camera in a certain way while gliding is objectively more correct than all other possible methods because it achieves the same outcome without spending a resource and doesn't require nearly as much effort. You have the option to do something else if you'd like, but that's not the same as being given multiple choices. More options =/= more freedom. Making any other decision besides using the Glide method for dealing with the Gigas is mechanically pointless. Side note, I think you're confusing Maka Chop with someone else. Maka rarely puts the word "Style" in his videos, with the only ones where I think he did that being the remakes of his Data Org videos. Trueblade Seeker does that much more often.
For the first time I think every tech that's done in the fight serves a practical purpose and isn't just for visual flare. Well done. Total pivot, but though this probably wasn't intentional, you did spell Yozora as "Yozara" in the video title for some reason. Just thought it was worth mentioning.

It's been so long since I've seen your videos!
Awesome dude
nice job
The Stitch counter to the mechas was next level
In fairness, you can do the same thing with Ariel, and doing it with her requires less effort.
