I live in Worcester Mass... that beautiful Panther is only minutes away from me.
The museum is absolutely amazing. A Stug, ME109, 88mm display, etc, etc,... the list goes on.
The Panther is displayed in a duel with a T34. 💥 The T34 goes up in flames... of course, lol.

Przypadek ? :)

The amount of work that went into this hull was enormous...I watched the progress on RUclips videos....they had to literally re fabricate the turret from new steel. Many other parts were salvaged from various places in the world...this wasn't a ' single tank ' ready to run....it was ' procured ' as a wreck. It was blown up by its crew and left in a river....to be fair, the restoration was mindblowing and one of a kind in terms of money and time. So it is half state property of Poland and half Mr. Littlefield's property. Now it rests in a museum after his collection was broken up.

It was removed as a wreck and has been restored. No case as far as I am concerned. Leave it where it is or otherwise receive the wreck as it was exported but that would be ridiculous. It was the property of the German army if you really want the original owner but it was abandoned so finders keepers.

If the people claiming the tank still belongs to them, why didn't they get it out of the river themselves instead of waiting on someone else to do it then try to reclaim it after it was restored>? I suggest reimbursing the man that restored it you might have a case?

Not impressed with the actions of the private buyer or seller, this is not 1950. These items are rare and should be held where they are found to be restored etc. Not be shipped around the world at a Millionaires whim in pieces just so he can have it in a Private collection.

The Polish government knew all along where the tank was and who was restoring it.
Funny how the Polish government comes out if the woodwork when the Panther is fully restored.
If the Polish government wants it back.
Then dismantle it and send it back to them the way it was before.
Or the Polish government can shell out around 14 million for it. Which I believe is the going rate for a restored Panther. And not ride the backs of other people’s money and labour.!
