- “There's so much to rage at in the world isn't there? And so few places to put it as a polite lady. It's not hard to channel rage these days,” Natalie Portman tells us sitting in her London hotel suite wearing a demure Miu Miu black dress with a dazzling sequin collar.
We are mid discussing her formidable fight sequences that peppered her returning to the role of cutting edge scientist, Doctor Jane Foster in Marvel’s blockbuster sequel, Thor: Love And Thunder. But this time around, Jane swaps her scientific microscope for the mystical hammer, Mjolnir - which she nabs from Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth - to become The Mighty Thor.
As she reprises her role in the Marvel’s Thor franchise, Natalie Portman is ready to fight a long-standing nemesis in her real life: sexism.

You really gave her some softball questions. A couple of years ago she complained there wasn't enough female directors, but she has her own production company that makes movies and the only female director she's hired is herself, you should have asked her about that
You have to be a hater to search up Natalie just to critique something so small.. lol she has very small funding going into production company she is building up that way when she hires more directors she pays them what they deserve.. it’s not fully funded
Exactly thank you for bringing that up Ash Fuller she is such a hypocritical virtue signaling pandering elitist!! She’s acting like there wasn’t representation on screen before when in fact there was for the LGBTQ community, women, minorities etc so these types of questions are ridiculous and again it’s shows that they are out of touch with reality.
Just said it, Ash Fuller. You hate her. Dont hired it.
Black blah blah female directors. How many female directors movies have you seen this year? I want to hear your recomendations.
So classy and elegant. One of my favorites actresses. Such a shame that she wasn't included in new SW with Hayden and Ewan. Pity.
Natalie Portman is just the BEST ACTRESS OF ALL TIME 🥳💥😍🤩🤗🔥🥰👍
It was terrible even without her

She is something else, Her voice is cracking 😜😎
We need more interviews like this
I don't agree with her on a lot of political and moral issues, but regardless, you have to acknowledge Natalie Portman's intelligence, humility, genuineness, and amiability. Very admirable.
I don't. She's a complete hypocrite. She says she's fighting sexism, but then backs out of a movie because it has a male director, and has no problems doing a scene where the male lead (Hemsworth) is clearly being objectified and his character is sexually abused and humiliated as a gag for the movie. She can go flick herself.
Nope. She hit the wall hard
@@losrevolucionarios8858 And she's a hypocrite on top of it.
