Zargham Akram Khan - Teen Taal - Tabla Solo - Ajrada Gharana

Zargham Akram Khan (17) performs a tabla solo in the 16 beat rhythm cycle Teen Taal for Takiya Online's 3-day Online Digitial Honhaar Festival 2020, featuring some of the most gifted South Asian classical musicians. Zargham represents the Ajrada Gharana and is the son of tabla maestro Ustad Akram Khan, he is the disciple of his grandfather, the late Ustad Hashmat Ali Khansaheb who was a recipient of the Sangeet Natak Academy Award.
Zargham has actively performed all over India, giving solo performances and also as well as in a trio with his father and grandfather, and has performed at prestigious music festivals including the Saptak Festival and Sankat Mochan. This performance was presented by Takiya Online on 27th September 2020.
