@@AJLee_bey The train has two train motors in it. One on each locomotive. But there’s only one battery box and receiver in the train. The extension wires between the carriages are for transmitting the power to the train motor in the back locomotive.

Partially, yes! Look for LEGO long curves on RUclips! There are different designs out there. Makes running the trains at full speed possible. But you need a lot of straight tracks and of course also a lot of room…

Da 90% meiner Sammlung allerdings aus den Plastikschienen besteht habe ich den Metroliner einfach umgerüstet. Ich habe den 9v Motor entfernt und stattdessen zwei LEGO PF Eisenbahnmotoren in die Lokomotive gebaut. Dazu noch einen PF Infrarot-Empfänger in das Dach und einen LEGO PF Akku in den hinteren Bereich der Lok eingebaut. Für diese simplen Modifikationen braucht es keine weitere Anleitung. Aber ich bin mir sicher, dass es auf RUclips andere Leute gibt, die ein Video dazu gemacht haben, wie sie ihren Metroliner umgerüstet haben.

I always found toy / model train crashes somehow fun. I used to love seeing Gomez Addams on "The Addams Family" deliberately crash his trains.

They use special techniques to make larger curves that can withstand the motor at full power
I was on the Amtrack lego express that day, it was a horrible crash, many lego men were disassembled.
