Matchbox AMX Javelin!

Manufactured by Lesney/Matchbox, this cool vintage AMX Javelin still has its original box and looks pretty good. I had several Matchbox cars back in the 70's!

This car was in my top 5 favorites, and I still have it.
Mine had a bent door frame right out of the box, which is weird, but I love it anyway.

Love the old toy cars like those. I stilll have most of my collection, unfortunately I do not have any matchbox boxes though. I played with mine outside & everywhere in between so they are all pretty worn out & rough looking. But I still love em. Just like I love your video series on everything you do. Keep up the great work.

I have never seen the box before. Those are sweet. I had a few of the Matchbox cars as a kid, but they were all second-hands from my older brother. I still have a few. The one that comes to mind is a little orange Mini Cooper.

Curiously, I remember the older Matchbox cars that used to actually be in a box that opened like an old matchbox :) Used to have a few when I was in the 2nd grade (would have been around 1969-70). Right now I have a few Matchbox reprints that they did around the mid-90s; the store I worked at sold them along with 30th anniversary Hot Wheels releases.
And right next to me is a Matchbox 1913 Cadillac Y-6, which was bigger than the average Matchbox car from the mid-60s )being 1/48 scale). Found this at the Ohio Thrift at Great Southern Shopping Center some months ago.
