So I’m not sure if they make a “mansion” version, but Toll House has a chocolate chip cookie house kit that works 750,000x better than the gingerbread houses. The cookie pieces that form the house have puzzle like pieces on the ends so they interlock and don’t fall apart so easily. You’re welcome! 🥰 but I’m with you and building a gingerbread house is not my favorite thing. My son is 5 so we are still very much in that stage ❤️

When you talked about single moms trying to make it I cried. My husband has recently had to stop working because he's went blind due to his diabetic cataracts and surgery isn't available until Jan 31 2022. So it's all on me and I'm on unemployment and my youngest daughters birthday is dec 15th. BUT I will make it work and make memories no matter what. Thanks for making a point to say that. ❤️❤️

Putting those houses together with the icing is soooo hard, I started using a hot glue gun to just get that sucker together so I can get to the fun part of decorating!

Girl! I followed the instructions on the damn gingerbread house to a T and it still took so many attempts to make it stay together. You need to apply the icing and wait like a minute before attaching one piece to another, then hold those together for like 2 minutes or something and then it stays. but I legit followed those steps and it was still so hard🤣 I was just as frustrated as you girl!
I got to the very end and had to re wind to see that the baby was in the cat tree the whole time 😩❤️
I saw a tiktok about using a sugar mixture to glue the walls together and it worked like super glue. You should look it up
