Here is another cottagecore/goblincore tiktok compilation to lift your spirits! I'm planning to make some compilations of other aesthetics, like fairycore and light/dark academia. Let me know in the comments what you would like to see more of 🦋🍄🐸

Here’s that strawberry cake recipe from 4:53 in case anyone wanted it, it goes by _way_ too fast!
🍓Strawberry cake🍓
3/4 cup flour
3/4 cup sugar
3 eggs
2 1/2 tbs milk
25g unsalted butter
12 strawberries
3 drops vanilla essence
2 drops strawberry essence
Preheat oven to 170C
Grease a 20cm cake pan with butter
Separate egg whites from yolks
Whisk egg whites until stiff peaks form
Add sugar in three parts to egg whites
Gently fold in egg yolks
Gradually sift flour into mixture
Pour milk, strawberry essence, and vanilla essence into melted butter
Gently fold in milk mixture
Pour mixture into your greased pan
Bake for 30 minutes
Stick a toothpick into your cake, if it comes out clean, it’s ready
Let cool
If you want a two-tier cake, double up the ingredients, and add sugar, water, and syrup to to the tops to prevent dryness
If you are doing two-tiers, layer middle with whipped cream and cut strawberries
Decorate with whipped cream and while strawberries
Serve and enjoy!

i bought an old book in a store where ppl sell their old stuff (i think it's from 1877 cause on the first page of the book, it's written "2nd semester 1877") and made a collage with some pages and pictures that were in the book and put it in an old-looking frame. i'm super proud of how it turned out !
i also bought a bunch of posters that look like pictures from an old dictionnary (one with butterflies, one with insects and one with mushrooms), some plants (of course) and an amazing bottle with dried plants in it !
talking about bottles, i own some pretty ones and want to put candles in them :)

where do people get those old books with flowers and mushrooms in the pages
hmm my best guess would be that they're either thrifted, found at yard sales or passed down. Look for books about flora and fauna at your local thrift shop and you should hopefully be able to find something similar ☺️ or maybe look through an older relatives book collection

Just put up a string of market lights, but each bulb is a uniquely shaped vintage style Edison bulb! I couldn't nail them into my ceiling so I used Command picture frame velcro strips and covers them by sticking fake plants onto each one
im so happy! ima weird mix of cottage core and dark academia, so basically a plant library dream! here are some tips to get the aesthetic you want! it. will. take. time!
-collect rocks when you see ones you like!
- at walmart the usually have little treasure boxes that i use to put littke treasures in!
-succulents are a good plant to start with, i like bears claw succlents!
-FAIRY LIGHTS ARE ADORABLE IN JARS
-if you can, buy (or make!) a shelf for some of this stuff im listing
-ask for vines after a while!
plus i have a red binder with home made mushroom stickers! soo cute for school!

@@tiktokfaves1267 it depends on what u wanna pant I did a sky land scape with a mushroom and I used water colors for the sky and the base of the grass and i used acrylic for the details and the way i did it was i used the water color for the mane color of everything and the lay out so I suggested that then going with the details after I hope this helped:)

I’m in the process of making my room cottagecore, does anyone have room decor ideas? 🍄🥀🐝🦋🐸🌱
Plants (if you can’t have real ones then fake ones) fairy lights, fake vines, hanging butterflies (out of paper,coloring,cutting out, string,tape) little fairy village (little garden stuff from like the dollar store) fun stuffies (foxes wolves rats bunny’s etc.) anything mushroom or frog themed (posters,paintings) BOOKS , rock salt light (can get at dollar store) moss in a jar , collecting cool rocks from outside, pretty bedding/pillowcases, pretty much just collecting cool stuffs
