Hey ben sorry that sounds stupid, but I just wana say that you are sliding down the mountain and not carvin with yor snowboard. Maybe is it the snowboard or you. Try it out do carv on your edge.
I used to go skiing in France all the time as a kid. We used to call the chair lift the flying sofa, the drag lift the dragon, the gondola the bubble and the moving belts the magic carpet. 😂😂😂 I miss the alps :(
We used to go with family friends and stay in their chalet/ apartment but they moved to Australia, so it got too expensive. Hopefully going next year though with uni! :)

Funnily enough, (since you're in Austria) Australia has après ski style resorts as well. Your vlog brings back memories from last season of sitting at the outdoor bar and eating area with live music in the background, overlooking half the mountain range on a warm sunny day, completely drained from snowboarding all morning and about to tuck into a schnitzel with a beer in one hand. So keen to do it again soon, this season could not come sooner!
I was there 2 weeks ago staying in Soll. At the top of that first bubble where the big mast is the restaurant has a motorised deck that slowly turns 360 with an amazing view. Good time lapse opportunity while you eat!! Toboggan run into Soll is good craic as well! So much off piste around there if you get some fresh snow.

In the past I have been riding Powder at Whistler and Black Comb, BC. For the past 3 years I was not able the travel there with my friends, so I am happy to at least watch you and your friends shed powder. Great vlogs. Keep up the good work.

Ben I hate to be THAT person, but why don't you wear a helmet? I literally see NO reason why you wouldn't, especially when compared to hitting your head at 40 mph and dying.
I recognised that area at the top of the first gondola you went up - I went to Westendorf which is part of the same area of ski runs - beautiful place! :)
Ahh man like you said such a classic European skiing vibe! The more snowboarding vlogs you make the more I miss the slopes and need to get back! Although that first red run you went down at the start looked far steeper than I remember them I need to get some practice in! :p
Hey Ben :) I know this kinda sounds annoying and you probably don't want to get advice from a 17 years old boy, but please put on a helmet while boarding! Because first of all it's for your own security, you never know what happens! And second, you are kind of a role model to a lot of your viewers (including myself) and some of them might think that it's cool to ride without a helmet! Of course it's way more comfortable, but a ski helmet is a life saver! I don't know if you have ever experienced how hard those slopes are nowadays! :)

I love snowboarding and you're doing great!! I'm going shredding again this weekend so I'm pretty pumped! I do have just one piece of advice tho! I noticed your shoulders are looking straight down the mountain. Try turning to the side and just have your head looking down the mountain. It keeps your body aligned and will bring better performance :) you probably already knew that but just wanted to help :)
ohmygoshAusten I already went to Disney this year, so that was fun! And since I live in Canada, I'm able to go snowboarding in the winter whenever...but its so expensive haha
Ben please please wear a helmet I know it may look cool wearing googles and a hat but wearing a helmet could save your life the slopes are unpredictable and you never know what could happen and anyway would you rather look cool or end up critically injured due to not wearing a helmet and your endings of your videos you say try not to get lost or killed well I'm just trying to say the same to you really Looking cool

when you come pass a steeper run, try to go into your knees while snowboarding straight and when you hit the curve you stretch your legs, makes curves a lot easier and you dont have to push the board around with ur legs :)
Same here but I am going Canada then usa with the school!! Literally 1 day after I come back from Dominican Republic. I will have no jet lag compared to my mates but I will be tired. I am from England and I am 13 and I want to have the life Ben and Louis have now. I want to travel the world and make lots of different cultures friends!
Its amazing how you can be doing the same thing, but it feels so different. Canada and Austria have completely different vibes. I am loving both, although maybe Canada a little more. :) More Austria vlogs might change my mind, though. Thanks for taking us along. I love seeing new places I have never been.
if you want to eat great traditional and self made food you should definitely check out the alp along the slope 7a on the map it's easy to overlook, it's not the Frankalm but another one further down when you take the blue slope on the opposite side of it, it doesn't look like a restaurant but it's a little family buisness and they make great food, especially their *Bauernschmarn* is amazing! If you have time, check it out :)
David Heaton believe me dude skiing in the alps is way more worse than in usa or canada, i live in bavaria, germany and i know the alps very good its so touristic and overcrowded

I went to Switzerland last February and it was HOT! We were skiing and it snowed but half the time I was just in shorts :)
im in the alps right now! I'm in France however, in the 3 valleys, best place to ski in the world! still got almost a week left! :) :)
