Little trick for the normal mode: Keep the left paddle pressed and it will immediately take you to the lowest gear that the rpms allow you do use and you fly away.
I have a 2017 GTS with an ecu tune and it rips. The newer 2020 has some seriously nice exterior details. But that sport exhaust / engine tone from the OG non-audi porsche engines in the 2017-18 range just sound so much more unique and louder in person. Might have a few less hp on paper, but it makes up for that in tone

my dad was gonna go for the Cayenne Diesel in 2016, yuck. i managed to convince him to get the Macan GTS instead at that time, and he fucking loves it now! I'm happy 18 year old me was able to convince him to get a Macan GTS instead of a boring diesel truck. I love driving it myself, and obviously i don't have as much experience as others, but i can only recommend the Macan GTS!

The rear looks much better but I Liked the front better in the 2016 GTS. The carmine red also looked better on the 2016 one. You can buy a 5 year old macan GTS for less than 50thousand euros. It’s a bargain.
I like the GTS, in fact like all Macans even my wife likes them. However regards buying one right now, I have this uneasy feeling that before very long, Porsche will replace all those buttons around the gear lever with the more modern haptic panel found in other Porsches. So I think I'll wait.
