Ok imagine this you were told by your friend who you are really close to aka Tommy and Wilbur’s relationship and that friend says on your birthday we going to do all these fun thing like fireworks and cake and other stuff. Then everyone you know flies away knowing it’s your birthday. Plus think of the fact that you have to plan a wedding and set the date but you can’t choose your birthday. That has to suck. I would hate that. Then after everything it is not I know I missed it and I am sorry. It’s “He was invited but he didn’t want to come because it was his birthday. Which is fair but your not going to have any friends there. So you should not be crying about it because you were invited”

Nah I'm on Tommy's side, I can't speak for him but this is my opinion, If he come the main reason you'll be there is because of Sneeg's wedding and his birthday will just come in second, also he can't really celebrate it there cause 18 is not the legal age there, he can't drink and join the fun in the party. I mean spending his bday with you guys will be fun but I think it's better to celebrate it with his family and other irl friends where the focus is on him and not shared with others.

And don’t hit me with the people get divorced and remarried line cause that’s not a common thing like weddings are meant to be a ounce in a lifetime thing the expectation is to be married to the person forever and it’s okay if you get divorced to them but typically most people who get remarried that’s ounce again 10’s of thousands down the drain compared to a birthday celebration.
I believe it's more of a personal opinion honestly, like I would not want to attend a wedding on my 18th birthday. It would be draining and lonely as fuck, but then I would feel guilty for expressing as much. In that case I'd decline to go to a wedding and just stay home. Sure it's a big event but it's a moment that cannot be relived. I'd be willing to give up my 19th birthday, my 20th birthday but not my 18th.
