Synopsis:
“In a school in Tokyo, there is a group called the “Losers class” in which underachievers from around the nation have been gathered together as classmates.
This class is made up of Reycho and his friends. Kids that are somewhat unusual compared to the rest of their peers.
On a certain summer day, on a school trip, their school bus gets caught in a rock slide accident.
They awake finding themselves in an amusement park that was constructed underwater, closed down for years and left abandoned.
From out of nowhere appears a clown, demanding they take part in a game of death where they have to sacrifice the lives of their classmates to win.
Without having any time to understand what’s going on Reycho and his friends are dragged into the clown’s inhumane game and have to struggle for their lives!
How will these kids overcome this insanely abnormal situation.
When everything seems to be completely hopeless and they are at their wits end, mysterious powers awaken with them.
And all at the same time…the world above…
undergoes some extreme changes too.”

Tattsun's not exactly dead. There's a "Losers" cage, and I think that they put him in there right off the rip.
Alex K I think he was probably trying to be heroic and stop the mascot, and then he was put in the losers cage to set an example. I doubt they would kill someone that early if they want us to invest in these characters. And it’s also very unprofessional and lazy to have spoilers like first death in your trailer.
So basically Danganronpa but with cooler setting good puzzles and kids with great character designs?

reminds me of battle royale . it seems like reycho , vanilla and pochi were a trio before the killing game ? but janu ( jenu ? ) also seems to get along with him !
hope or despair ? based on how Vanilla and Reycho were introduced together and Pochi’s description which stated he only opens up around Reycho, I think we can deffo say they’re a trio.

So it's like Danganronpa but as a survival platformer. Every participant has a mission for anyone but themselves. You have to find your assignment and complete it or else... something bad happens, I guess? Death, most likely.
Feeling cautious about this one, will wait for reviews to make the plunge, but will keep up with the news.

They removed the menacing character portraits.
Ok then, it feel like the people in the comments are mixed of bad and good one. Before that trailer, i demanded what was the point to stop a survival game series to make another survival game. And, when i see the trailer i was a little hyped by it. The only problem i got is for the moment the game do not seem to be original appart for the gameplay which is a visual novel/platformer 2d/puzzle game. For exemple the mascot of the game is a monokuma version clown, the bracelet... But there is i thing i really like in this trailer. The music and the cutscene. And that's really a shame that most of the comments say than it's ugly which is not. In conclusion i waiting this game even if i don't thonk that would be good as ZE or DR.

Wow I was confused at first until I saw the kids. Also I'm gonna assume all the kids are sort of remnants of despair who will try anything to escape even trying to kill you. IDK looks awesome tho

Is the first two minutes are kodaka and Uchikoshi trying to troll us or they are trying to make us think that they are trolling us so they would give us a bigger plot/trolling in the game

Not much gameplay shown expect running simulator. Still curious about the story, character and probably the different paths. Definitely buying it if the game is cheap enough.

Danganronpa is amazing, kind of wish they just made something more akin to it, the 2d platforming stuff looks like the weakest part.

So to summarize...this is Danganronpa V4 where a school bus gets sent to a underwater themepark and NiGHTS tells a bunch of 12 year olds to fight to the death...yep, seems pretty normal for what's essentially Danganronpa: puzzle edition

Yes it is. Kodaka confirmed in an interview that all the games he will make in Too Kyo Games will have an english version too
Anyone else mildly uncomfortable that they chose 12 year olds for this like...........thats a little weird.......
Nonetheless though, the game looks pretty damn great. Not sure how I feel about the who platforming+puzzle solving aspect, but its still interesting. It does, however, look a little short and small. Im thinking the game may only last 60 minutes, judging by the timer in the top left? Plus, it doesnt look like there is that much variety in exploration, but I did read that this might just be from the prologue (after all, only one person has died, likely to set an example just like in the show they were watching on the bus). Music sounds great too. Really excited! Hopefully a release date drops soon. If it does get onto the Nintendo Switch, we could possibly get some sort of reveal in a future rewind (of course, the PC dates will probably be out first by then)

Well, that was kind of stupid. Why the hell did they outright spoil one of the characters' deaths with the 'X' over his label? Couldn't they have at least edited it out for this video...
It could be something similar to 999 where there's an unavoidable death that starts off the plot.
Could be a misleading fake death (if its death at all?) like they did in first dangan ronpa's demo with wrong victim. There's many other similarities with both zero escape and dangan ronpa games (same directors) so i wouldnt be surprised if they pulled that off here.

I think in this game, any character could die and there would be multiple ending, that's how I see it.
Uh... is this a Chinese game? It’s story seems to be a blatant rip off of the second 999 game Virtues Last Reward. The Jester is Zero III, they have he same brackets that inject murder toxin, and they are forced to play a death game for mysterious reasons.
😂 No, one of this game's creators, Kotaro Uchikoshi, also wrote the Zero Escape series.
It's made by the same creator along with the danganronpa creator teaming up to make Tookyo Games.
As stated already it's made by the same creator, but since he moved on to his own company to make these games, that's why it's incredible similar.

Actually, the bracelets here have assignments, which is based on Dangan Ronpa 3's idea, not VLR. The differences here is that the assignments aren't for the wearer, and in DR3, they were rules; the opposites of assignments. Literally every death game is a mystery. That's the whole point. It'd just be torture porn otherwise.
