Great video Mario! I really enjoyed all of your clinical research videos. I'd love to hear more monitoring visit anecdotes.

Great channel! I have seen a couple of your videos and see your enthusiasm in teaching others. Have you looked into teaching at a local healthcare program, either a nursing school, med school, or a PA program? Unfortunately, the clinical research field is still unknown to the 'bedside' care world. It is either the healthcare professionals are burnt out and want to get into the CR field later on their career or they try to transition to the CR field due to interest but at both times don't know how or have no experience. If they have some type of class during their schooling about CR they at least can say they have some knowledge on how CR work or positions they can apply to. I will be teaching in a new healthcare program and will be teaching about CR and how pharma works so more will be familiar getting into this field. This can also be a great 'side hustle' for you.

Thank you for checking out and supporting the channel. I do enjoy teaching and am hoping to become a CRA line manager so I can mentor the next generation of CRAs. I haven't looked into teaching locally but may do so in the future. There are a few healthcare programs around me and it would be nice to introduce people to clinical research as a career option. Thanks for the suggestion. Good luck with your teaching gig!

    1. Would love to hear how your investment strategies changed as you made more money as a CRA.
    2. Would love to hear about average timeline, responsibilities, job responsibilities, and salaries for people who choose to move beyond CRA (ex. CRA-->Sr. CRA-->Lead/Principal CRA-->CTM/LM-->Associate Director of Clinical Operations-->Director of Clinical Operations)

      1. I'm mostly an index fund investor so my investment strategies haven't changed much. Only the amounts I put in just got bigger. 2. I'm not qualified to answer the question since I've only made it as far as Lead on a project as a Sr. CRA. I've seen people do things quickly and much more slowly but even at the fastest rate getting to director of clinical operations is a 10-15+ year process.
