You have encouraged (?) motivated me to get on the ball and FFO the three finished kits that I have sitting in my basket. I get so many good ideas and hints from you. Don't worry about your son a teenaged boy will never starve he will eat when he gets hungry enough. 1 2 3 .
I always enjoy watching your flosstubes and seeing all of your wonderful projects. I also have enjoyed stitching several of your freebie charts and fitting them in with other stitches in decorating. After watching this flosstube, I resurrected the infamous "projects to be FFOd box" and pulled several summer/patriotic ones to finally fully finish. Thank you for the inspiration. 1 2 3

All of your finishes are so beautiful, Helen, and you've gotten so much accomplished. I'm sure looking forward to seeing your soft finishes if you have time before your son gets back. When my kids were young like that, every time they went away to camp or wherever, they seemed so much more grown up when they returned. I hope you enjoy the rest of your week. 1, 2, 3
All I can say is WOW!!! Everything looks great. You are really an amazing finisher. Hope your son is having a wonderful time. I bet he has lots of stories to tell. That will be fun for you to hear them all.😁
I love watching your flood tube videos, your work is always so beautiful. I’m originally from New Brunswick so I know Maine well. Thank you for sharing all your lovely cross stitch pieces.
Your energy is inspiring! I am 74 and recently reconnected with my love of stitching. I am being selective in projects. Have always wanted to have a Christmas tree with hand stitched ornaments. With this in mind pulled out P. Buckley Moss ornaments I purchased years ago, 2 Williamsburg ornaments, and 12 days of Christmas by Cottage Garden Samplings. My preferred fabric is linen. Once they are all in progress will finish a bell pull I started many years ago. I also finished a sampler from many years ago with a Bible verse about entertaining strangers. I continue to enjoy seeing your progress and feel that you are a long distance friend!
OMG, I love your flosstubes. You are such an enabler. I saw quite a few things I "Have" to get !!!! Love all of your finishes too. They are awesome. Thanks so very much. 1, 2, 3, 4.
Hi Helen, great stitching. Love your flamingo, and I can't wait to stitch it. Can't imagine letting my son go off on a trip like that without me, but then to go anywhere from here, you need a plane. Your finishes are amazing. Getting 14 done is amazing. 1 2 3 4

That is quite the adventure for only being 13! We’ve had some crazy weather here in the DC area. I hope he had fun in all the areas he visited. Thanks for sharing all your finishes. I guessed 7 and wasn’t even close! You got a ton done. At least you made good with your free time. Have a great week! 4
Hoo boy! I remember those days of sending off the kids on field trips. I worried so much about sending my oldest son out to New Mexico to the huge Boy Scout Camp out there. Luckily, he was very good about updating me on where he was on the bus trip. I think it helped that older boys were along for the ride to help keep him focused (he was a bit of an airhead back then). Just a part of helping them spread their wings into the wide, wide world.
I enjoyed seeing your FFOs. That’s what I also need to do with my finishes so I can display them in the wooden dough bowl I recently bought. I’ve stitched 8 Prairie Schooler Santas so far and would like to stitch a few more. 1, 2, 3
Wow, you are so talented Helen! Love your finished items. Your son and I share a hatred of previews at the theater, but I hate them for the spoilers… I literally close my eyes, plug my ears, and hum to avoid watching or hearing them. My hubby taps my leg when they’re over so I know when the movie starts. 😁 Thanks for keeping me company while I stitched on Pavane and tried to ignore the snow falling outside. Happy stitching!
I love your finishes! They are all beautiful. You are an inspiration! I have a huge stack of stitching that needs to be fully finished. I plan to get started on some finishes for an upcoming retreat this weekend. 1, 3, 4 Happy Stitching! ❤️🪡

You really made a good dent on Pretty Little NY too! Enjoy your extra stitching time! The kiddo will be home soon. I'm sure he's having a blast😊
