- Live cover of this trend setting supersaw trance anthem, a waveform built into the JDXi. The sequence and bass are both simple sawtooths and the drums are standard 909. This entire track is just 2 patterns, the percussion intro and main loop. I'm opening the filter at the end of the first loop, then unmuting the sequence after loop 2.
Thank you very much for making these tracks available as sound banks. Much appreciate. You've done some brilliant work by arranging them on Jdxi. I have downloaded them today, and it made my weekend, so thank you so much again. Just wanted to ask, do you play all those melodies just by hearing them, or do you use some kind of music tabs etc? Best regards
Thanks, and have fun with the sound banks! Most songs have free midi downloads, which I review in Synthesia on my phone. Some do not and I then play by ear.
Thanks for your reply. I've just downloaded the synthesis too, so I will be plying with it. The midi tracks do you use any specific websites or just random ones? I am just a bit curious about downloading content from random websites I've not used before that's all. Best regards
If I may have a request....Solarstone's Solarcoaster or his Seven Cities. 😁
Klasse…..nur zu kurz 🤪😜👍
This is fantastic Jeroen! Could you possibly do a tutorial on this please for us newbies?!
Unfortunately I do not have the time or tools for making good tutorials. You can download all my songs as a JDXi sound bank though. That way you can see how all songs and sounds are setup: www.dropbox.com/s/htc4kfpkf2qwt3t/sounds.zip
very close to the original, although the high G at 0:16 is too high and should only go up to the F and hold until the (correctly dipped) E.
Thanks! Unfortunately the sequencer can only do 8 bars so this variation didn't fit 😉
love this bro keep on going i want to remix this tune as well Sunforce style
Masterpiece
Wonderful. Just wonderful.
Wow I didn't realize my jdxi can sound like a jp8080 :)
Oh yes, the super saw is present in the JDXi! As are the saw, square, triangle, pulse, sine and noise. It's really a good VA synth at heart and I only use samples for obvious sounds like pianos and organs.
Of course it is lacking in terms of hands-on controls, so building sounds means quite some menu diving. However, you can download my sound banks here to load into the JDXi: www.dropbox.com/s/htc4kfpkf2qwt3t/sounds.zip
Great work Jeroen!

Awesome cover! 😊👍🏻 You making me want this synth more and more! 😄
Сойдёт.
Was the JD-Xi playing all the sounds live in a single performance? Lead, sawtoooth sequence, 909 drums and bass
You did a good job. Very good rendition of Airwave. Thanks. I decided to get a JD-Xi to try it out.
Indeed, all JDXi! If you buy one, download my sound set which includes all songs on this channel. I posted the link in the "community" section.
@@jeroenwijering Thanks much. I really like the song Airwave. Your rendition is great. I ordered a JDXi

Dear jeroen, thx for your productions, i will buy a jd xi, i am a trance lover, i will also be cause of your videos, do you have special patches? Can i play like you? İt will be my first synthesizer, regards
Great to hear! Trance is also my #1 genre. And you'll be happy to hear that I also cannot really play piano - just practiced to play these riffs myself.
Should you get a JDXi, all my patterns can be downloaded from here: www.dropbox.com/s/htc4kfpkf2qwt3t/sounds.zip
True groove

Mega Cover
Super.
Heyyyyy,,,,great work ,,,I've just got the jdxi,,,,any advice on the easiest way to use it etc ,,,,as setting up tracks as you've done,,,thanks
Hey, thanks! I usually start with the main riff, see if I can play it well and I can build the original sound on the first digital part.
For the sound design, you can see the JDXi as an analog polysynth with 3 oscillators. These oscillators can be the standard square/saw/noise/etc as well as samples like piano/organ/violin/etc.
When I have the main hook, I usually build this into a pattern. The analog part I always use for baseline and the second digital part for pads/apps (or both). The drums I tend to tweak a lot in terms of samples used (the JDXi has over 400), panning and filtering.
The last piece is copying the pattern a few times to create a song. Typically a buildup, main, bridge, main2 and ending. Some songs can be played with 1 or 2 patterns, others need 6 or 7.
Hope that helps for the basics! I am planning to make my song patterns available as a download here this weekend, so you can import them into your JDXi.
Jeroen Wijering ,,,,,hi ,,,,ok thank you
I just released a download of all my covers, so you can import and analyze them yourself. Let me know if this works!
