Only a 30 minute train ride from central Tokyo, Kawagoe is a wonderful place to take a day trip. If you want to get a taste of walking around the old streets of Japan, but don't have enough time to travel to Kyoto or Kanazawa, this is a great choice. There are many traditional style Japanese buildings, Japanese snacks, and you can even rent a kimono or yukata to walk around in to get some wonderful pictures!

I don't know the meaning of Taisho & Taizo but just the pronunciation is quite similar so those sound remind me the name of Mr. Taizo/Ichinose, he is a Japanese War Photographer whose dead in Angkor Wat area, Cambodia, 1973 at 26 years old, while he tried to take photo of Angkor Wat during under control by Khmer Rough. Praying for his soul rest in peace.
