The puppet regime in the South has no indepence, they do like what their boss said.Such as let China took Paracel Islands,they also give Vietnam islands to Philipines and Taiwan.In the battlefield,in the unit, the USA adviser actually they commander,not Vietnamese. They also can not produce weapons to arm themselves but depend all on aid from master.They can not fight without aid from outside.But Vietminh hold up French from 1946-1950 without any aid from outside and still hold bigger territory. So,why do Vietnam have to seek for something like democracy to make the foreigner look us better. When the chance it ruin this country is obviously, there is no real democracy at all. Why don't you look at what the regime do to the country instead of label communist or anti-communist ?
