Notice King Tut cleverly cover himself under his invisible stealth invisibility Pharoah Ninja cape and "disappear" instantly. Oddly enough, his cape wasn't labeled like every special guest villian gadget in every 60s Batman episode lol
"Twinkle twinkle little bat, how I wonder where you at?" Ha ha ha This nefarious Pharaoh has accomplished what that Clown Prince of Crime has tried and failed for so many years
I feel sorry for Neferteri here. Unlike Batman, the "Theban Pebble Torture" really did drive her crazy, and there's no indication she ever got her sanity back. (We don't even find out what happened to her after King Tut was defeated. She just disappears in the middle of the fight here.) And all she did was bring up King Tut's true identity. Poor girl (even if she was a criminal).
In the early 80s my friends and I used to dance like this in 'proper' discos. Was funny because everyone used to take disco dancing so seriously. We were thrown out for "dancing incorrectly"! Superb!
He did what with the what table backwards? "Hang on, Batman! I'm with you!" *Sword magically drops beside him* *clumsily picks up sword by the wrong end and turns it around*
OMG...I got into the biggest fight with my mother over a batman lunchbox when I was 6 n in first grade. Piss on Barbie and her cheap plastic lunch purse...I'm a girl n I want Batman!! I won n had that lunchbox until 6th grade when the latch broke n yes my original thermos hit the curb n shattered...I actually cried...I knew my childhood was over...that lunchbox was awesome n carried more than my lunch! I sure wish I would have kept it even though it was falling apart. Batman rocked his crime fighting ass off and I loved that ridiculous show! My batman lunch box whacked a couple of bullies upside the head...especially when I fashioned a chain metal dog leash to it as a strap!
I love Adam West's term for the character he played, compared to other renditions: "The Neon Knight." He's a square, serious, non-drinking adult with moments like this of being Austin Powers in a cape.
bob kane liked all of the batman stuff. he liked this show, batman '89, batman returns, batman forever, and he even liked batman & robin...i think he just likes anything that's batman. it's a shame he couldn't live to see batman begins.
The ultimate campy show. My brother's girlfriend and I got into an argument during its run. She said it was "stupid" because everything that occurred was outlandish and exaggerated. She couldn't grasp that that was the exact effect the show aimed for. Actors were falling all over themselves to be on Batman. Look at the impressive list of villains and "window cameos" - Vincent Price, Burgess Meredith, Shelley Winters, Otto Preminger, Eli Wallach, Roddy MacDowell, Art Carney, Carolyn Jones, Julie Newmar, Eartha Kitt, Joan Collins, Michael Rennie, Dick Clark, Sammy Davis Jr., Jerry Lewis, and more.
i loved it when robin came out of nowhere. man, this show is the best. and people should know...this series was a spoof of batman. it wasnt supposed to be serious. adam west acted that way for it to be even more ridiculous.
This show was so ridiculous, cartoonish and stupid, it took at least 20 years, if not longer, for audiences to figure out they can be taken seriously as a storytelling medium in their own right. Even then, there are many who criticise them for being nonsensical, childish escapism, rather than being a medium by which fascinating stories can be told, expressed uniquely through the printed image.
You a supposed adult, with assumed non silly adult responsibilities either clicked on a video transparently about batman or actively searched for it. Batman just Batmans.
Alfred: Sir, I have seen you go through similar phases in 2016, and 2012, and 2008, and 2005, and 1997, and 1995, and 1992 with 1989, and... 1:22 That weird one in 1966. Batman: I have aged Phenomenally.
"How come Batman doesn't dance anymore?" You know, I find myself wondering the same.
New batman movies needs more batusi.
Pure West.
It was in Lego Batman 3
hey12358y All that Guano got to him.
+hey12358y "Kids, just back away slowly and don't make eye contact."
Pure West
He didn't need that plastic mould either!
God...how I wish I could see Christian Bale's Batman or Ben Affleck's Batman do this.
Or micheal keaton's batman
It seems that King Tut wasn't prepared for Batman's wits as Tut said: "Dance my slaves".
I love how gleeful Tut is to have Batman as a "Mindless Slave." "Dance for our amusement!" and that giggle are classic!
The trumpets. Awesome
Notice King Tut cleverly cover himself under his invisible stealth invisibility Pharoah Ninja cape and "disappear" instantly. Oddly enough, his cape wasn't labeled like every special guest villian gadget in every 60s Batman episode lol
It looked like when they smashed the vases that batman had the wind knocked out of him by accident
traderjoes , like getting punched in the stomach?
If Batman recited the multipl ecation table backwards, wh ere did he start?
"Twinkle twinkle little bat, how I wonder where you at?" Ha ha ha
This nefarious Pharaoh has accomplished what that Clown Prince of Crime has tried and failed for so many years
Adam West: the only Batman that really counts...
Backwards
Music... ¡¡¡BAT!!! music.
R.I.P to Adam West. A sad day for all Batfans!
People need to show this 60s show more respect. This show saved Batman.
omg peter griffin is king tut
Hands Down, All Time Favorite Bat Man!
"I kept my reason by reciting the multiplication tables BACKWARDS!"
Brilliant!
I feel sorry for Neferteri here. Unlike Batman, the "Theban Pebble Torture" really did drive her crazy, and there's no indication she ever got her sanity back. I would love to see Batgirl perform the Batusi!!!
... And nobody talk about her. She's a goddess here!
Easily the greatest moment in the whole series. I love how Batman explains how he escaped madness. Classic West badassery.
Pure West.
0:17 my face during any michael bay film
Adam West is the man. No other actor is THIS good at being batman.
Feels Man
Reciting the multiplication tables backwards.
Sounds more like "hold on dickhead km with you"
This is the funniest most intriguing thing I've ever seen. Would have loved to have lived in the 1960s
this show was on so many drugs XD
Everyone knows that reciting the multiplication table backwards will not keep you sane. Something like that makes the whole thing unbelievable.
Still the one of the craziest shows on TV. Watched it as a child, shake my head as an adult.
Bruce Wayne's Dance Theory degree comes in handy once again!
Holy two step Batman
I love Adam West's term for the character he played, compared to other renditions: "The Neon Knight." He's a square, serious, non-drinking adult with moments like this of being Austin Powers in a cape.

"You thought you had unhinged me. I kept my reason by reciting the multiplication tables backwards!"
bwahahahhaa. hilarious....
The ultimate campy show. My brother's girlfriend and I got into an argument during its run. She said it was "stupid" because everything that occurred was outlandish and exaggerated. Did I see that right? A kick to the balls with a touché effect
Adam West will always be the only real Batman.
Victor Buono said in an interview that he really enjoyed playing King Tutt, as it was a role which he could over act in.
Back when batman (in movies/television) was allowed to be fun.
i loved it when robin came out of nowhere. man, this show is the best.
and people should know...this series was a spoof of batman. it wasnt supposed to be serious. adam west acted that way for it to be even more ridiculous.
The Batusi is the ultimate evolution of the trojan horse
RIP Batman, the great Adam West
He can dance if he wants to, he can leave Gotham behind. Cause Gotham doesn't dance and if they don't dance then they're no friend of Robin's.
HOW DO I UNSEE THIS this "batusi dance" has managed to destroy my perception of batman forever.Christopher Nolan where are u ?
Fuck you, Nolan.
OMG, I had forgotten about this dance. Thank you for posting, gotta love Adam West :-)
Killer trumpet.
this version batman is impervious to psychological torture because he's already fucking nuts.
"Remember this?" Oh yes, I do! Pure West 😂.
I thought Batman was more of a mysterious character rather than comical
You ain't kidding, that music RULES! Wish I could play sax so I could jam this. Shit, I'll be up all nite watching this now!
"Where's the main villain Robin?"
"Oh shit..."
And thus pulp fiction was born
If Batman beat me like this I’d lose weight and change my name to Ra’s al Ghul too.
Now we all know how to keep our mental faculty while enduring psychological torture, just recite the multiplication table backward. Is so obvious.
Oh Adam West, how could ANYONE have qualms about his acting skills when he's got moves like that?
God Batman is a badass.
Adam Weeeest Adam Weeest!
music...BAT-music!
classic
Didn't realise this was actually a 'thing' until now
I hope the next Arkham game lets you do this after a high enough combo level
"Dance you schhlaaaves." HAHAHAHAHA
This is a smart move to get away from king tutti and get to the two men and hit them and fight his way out of it and with the help of Robin
holy pharaohs, Batman!
The sword fighting reminds me of Game Of Thrones
"I kept my reason by reciting the multiplication tables backwards."
Obsessive logic: the anti-crazy.
R.I.P. Adam West
A CLASSIC,
At 1:58 one of the henchmen decides that it wouldn't be fair unless Robin got to have a sword, too.
So THAT'S why we should know our multiplication tables... ahh.
GOD BLESS THE 60s
small beginnings
7 years ago!!! Was your channel even a thing back then?
Legendary.
Everybody did acid back in the 60s, even the Dark Knight!
Ladies and gentlemen, this is the reason superhero writers had to fight for decades to be taken seriously.
Spike Prime what??????
This show was so ridiculous, cartoonish and stupid, it took at least 20 years, if not longer, for audiences to figure out they can be taken seriously as a storytelling medium in their own right. Even then, there are many who criticise them for being nonsensical, childish escapism, rather than being a medium by which fascinating stories can be told, expressed uniquely through the printed image.
Get a clue. They're still not taken seriously--at least by anyone with a modicum of maturity.
best dance in the 1966
RIP
The bad guy sounds like Peter Griffin
they dont teach that dance at dance school thats for sure. *BIFF* *CLANK* *TOUCHE*
It seems his Batusi dance may broke his back.
Oh lord... this couldn't be more humiliating....
Иван Драго Welcome to the wierd side of youtube
only for you, moron.
Sure, you remember. It was King Tut on the throne.
Cannot unsee..... ><
Also, was I the only person brought here by the Neil Patrick Harris song?
R.I.P Adam West :(
it love old school batman 5 stars.
how dare king tut have electronic devices! that breaks character!
RIP Adam West!
RIP
Adam West
BAT, music!!!
Best part is, they made absolutely no effort in to making the events seem real, factual, or even possible. That show is great!
"And the weird one in 1966."
KAYO!!!
Kept his reason by reciting the multiplication tables backwards - awesome
The two best parts of that video (aside from the obvious badassedness of the dancing): "TOUCHÉ" and "KAYO"
that is the batman
the lego batman mobie brought me here.
I'm here from The Simpsons.
R.I.P. Adam West
Damn Adam West was funny as hell....
Spike it honey spiked it
Farewell Adam West...
