Pancham da was one of the best music directors in our bollywood.Because of him Asha jee became a famous voice.She was so lucky, she worked under him and learned many thing about singing.

An accomplished singer always becomes a bigger star than a music director. Even singer like Kumar Sanu is a bigger star than R.D.Burman (on the basis of public demand). But that is not the point on which they can be compared.

Asha Bhosle became famous because of O.P.Nayyar Saheb.
While Panchamda is my favourite music director and Asha Tai is my favourite female playback singer, Asha Tai had already become a huge name before Panchamda even entered Bollywood. Music directors like Ravi, S D Burman, etc used to use the voice of Asha Tai time and again, and O P Nayyar Saab practically used the voice of Asha Tai only in female voices other than Geeta Dutt ji.

Some Toxic people are spreading hate on Ashaji and Burman ji on their in laws issues
1) RD Burman and Asha bhosle were separated legally. No moral right to ask Asha to take care of in laws .
2) Asha was senior age than RD and was in 72 age when her mother in law was in old age home..you can't ask one senior citizen to take care of old person
3) RD himself had left his first wife.showing his character
4) family members of Burman have accountability to take care of his/ her mother
5) Some Bengali people are chauvinist in their artist love and hate for others.
But we love all artist whether Bengal,Punjab, Maharashtra, Southern India etc

1 Husband Bhonsle who was secretary of Lata , Asha eloped with him, when she became wealthy and famous she deserted him, Bhonsle committed suicide
2 OP Nayyar when he was on the top Asha was flirting with him when he started sliding down she deserted him, stopped singing for him, OPNayyar died a poor recluse man in a paying guest accommodation, Asha never helped him
3 Sadhna the famous actress lived in a bunglow called Sangeeta which is owned be Asha, Sadhna's hesband RKNayyar died, they had no children or close relatives, she lived all alone in that house was suffering from many ailments, during her last days, Asha Bhonsle served her eviction noticed and started haressing her through a builder, poor Sadhna died soon after.
4 Her Daughter in Law, w/o Late Hemant Bhonsle her eldest son, he married a muslim air hostess, soon after his premature death Asha started torturing her daughter in law got her evicted from her flat, she was forced to live in a chawl.
5 Varsha Bhonsler Asha's eldest daughter, she was mentally tortured finally fed up and suffering from depression she committed suicide.
6 RDBurman after marriage she started living separately she also took away all wealth, after RD started sliding down she deserted him, he became depressed and started drinking heavily, died all alone in his house, in his last days Asha stopped singing for him, have you noticed not a single song of his last film 1942 a love story was sung by asha.
7 Meera Deb Burbman mother of RD and wife of SD Burman, after inheriting all the wealth, Meera Deb Burman was admitted in an old age home and died a pathetic death.
All above accounts are mentioned in various news reports and biographies hence true, judge for your self now.
I heard a lot about the 2 of them, their never satisfied greed, their money hungriness, opportunism, too especially I know about actress Sadhana no as she was favourite of my grandfather, the harassment she faced from her. But how did she usurp the wealth of RD and SD Burman? And why were so many men falling for her, she's not good looking from any angle. Just curious is all. I mean if RD Burman died poor then she had nothing to inherit and if he was still alive when she took his wealth, that means somehow she usurped?
