Presently on a visit to my daughter’s house in Chicago enjoying on RUclips every moment of Smt Sriranjini’s concert.From my younger days along with my sistersI have attended Live programmes on stage of many legendary musicians till the present day artists. Sriranjani is a much sought younger generation musicians. In fact I have listened to Parveen Sultana the only one who can sing in Seven Octaves.Today Sriranjini singing Hindolam Sri Papanasam Sivan kriti Maa Ramanan Kumar RamananAlapana in the high pitch was absolutely exceedingly breathtaking and graceful.
Excellent performance by Vidushi Sriranjani. For a singer to sing in sruthi A, the voice range and control is remarkable and effortless, she truly understands how to handle the voice neatly. no doubt there is much hard work in the background. credits to all the wonderful accompaniments.
This varNam may be rare in music concerts but it is widely used in Dance recitals. There is a lot of scope for abhinayam and of course the Nava rasas are there.
