By very popular request, following the success of Lustral Vol.1. I continued on with the amazing PolyBrute 12, creating Vol.2 which features another 96 Custom patches, Leads, Basses, Classic Polys, Arps, Sequences and.....Binaural!! yes Binaural!
it is not s feature that was highly advertised by Arturia, (if advertised at all), but yes indeed the PolyBrute 6 and 12 can do 100% Binaural patches!
I will follow up in the coming days with a youtube tutorial on exactly how to get the binaural sounds from your synth!
for now, I hope you enjoy these!
Merry Christmas!
Scott.

Well, what can I say. Absolutely brilliant! I have found inspiration in all of these patches. Volumes 1 and 2 bring the PolyBrute to life, I apologize for taking so long to give this short opinion, but I have been totally absorbed in working my way through these wonderful sounds. I encourage anyone with a PolyBrute to check these out.
Thank you Scott for an excellent array of, infinitely useable, patches. Kind regards Mick Aus
@@MichaelHarper-o9o hey Mick! Happy New Year to you! So glad you are happy with the new sounds buddy! Inspiration is the most important thing 👌 best Regards 🎹
@ Thanks Scott and a wonderful new year to you.
Scott!? I just purchased ‘Lustral 2’, but blow me down, Santa intervened and has placed in a, locked and secure compartment on the back of the sled! I am so so sorry that I am unable to leave a comment regarding the Lustral 2 patches until after Christmas. Last year his rain dear dented my roof and left an awful mess and Santa, apparently, got stuck , for a time, in the six inch flue of my combustion heater. My only saving grace was that I left a glass of whisky and a mince pie out for him. All the very best to everyone and I promise to leave a more appropriate comment about the ‘Lustral 2’ patches after Christmas.🎄kind regards Mick🇦🇺
@@MichaelHarper-o9o haha excellent comment! Have a great Christmas! And enjoy!! 🍻
Best demo of the PB12’s capabilities! Not the least bit surprised Scott😊

@ Merry Christmas to you too! Already had some fun with some of your presets today :)
@@neuronistexcellent!! ❤
Very good programming and playing. Not blaming you, but I do get a bit of a harshness from this synth as opposed to some "all sweetspot" instruments. The Prophet 6/OB6 dont have the modulation, but things like the 3rd Wave, the Moog One, and the Quantum, or the Modal 008/002, all can do aggressive stuff without it triggering me the way this one does.
Thanks, yes I know exactly what you mean. That was my initial thought with it. However, in a mix it really does cut through, and definitely not in a harsh way. It just seems to hold it's own real estate and not drown other instruments. I is one of those synths that I didn't realise my mixes were missing until I got it. Very similar to Nord synths, alone they sound good, but in a mix they really sit well and draw in the listener's attention.
In practice in the studio, this synth does probably need some EQ (I've had good results with my own external EQ versus the onboard presets), but the feeling of the controls while playing it is almost 2nd to none and you get some very unique sounds that cross strange boundaries between analog and other types of synthesis. For sheer sound quality and tone for the classic sounds and a ready-to-shred character though, I got an OB-X8 a few weeks ago and am now leaning toward that as the best modern release so far; very impressive dry but it feels a little limited compared to the Brute.
