Tekken 4 was, and still is, the most serious in the franchise. But Kuma, Law and Combot still had some comic ending. I think in that moment, they found a good balance between the two thing. P.S: If you think Heihachi is hard in ultra hard, prepared to be stuck for a very long time with Nina, expecially in the lab stage. She was a nightmare for me
I love the dark and serious atmosphere of T4. I think it's the darkest of the entire series. It's kinda like a seinen anime with heavy themes such as alcoholism and depression. They really made the characters very relatable. It's a shame that they didn't keep it up afterwards.
Only Jin/Gouki can sadly beat him, he may beat base Kazuya but with his Devil form in play i doubt Phoenix could pull it off and i think Harada knows it as well.
I like that most of T4's arenas are realistic and everyday-like, makes it more relatable than, let's say, space stations, volcanos and temples. Here you have streets, a mall and even an underground parking lot, all are reasonable to fight in, even if the stages contain objects in the way.
The entire parking garage is a fighting stage, that's so friggin dope, wall to wall impossible, and I love that stage he fought Paul on, that one would be fun to play on in 7
AI Nina at stage 5-7 were a complete nightmare in Tekken4. I was struggling like hell the old good days against her. Loved Law's stance in this version.
Honestly, Law deciding to just open up his dojo in the same spot his restaurant was on made me think that it wasn't exactly a problem for him considering he got that Mishima money helping him stay afloat.
I know you're not a fan of the character but how about Lei Wulong? He had a very interesting story, too. It was about overwork and had connections to Nina & Steve. Or maybe Lee (or rather Violet for that matter) or King.
Tekken 4's story telling and the narrated intros are so well written, and even though it's arguably the darkest game in the series, it's gotten the biggest laughs out of me, something that the other and especially later games failed to do because they were too silly. Granted, Tekken has always been a silly series when you look at it, but the pathos of 4 seemed to only heighten the fun factor for the goofy moments. I'm glad to see in this comments section that I'm not the only one who thinks this.
Ah, back when Law and Paul weren't walking punching bags. Yes, you could argue that they had always been sorta comedic (see Marshall Law's Tekken 2 ending and Forest Law's Tekken 3 and Tag endings) but you were still able to take them seriously. Especially Paul, who was once considered to be on par with Kazuya and kicked Ogre's ass in Tekken 3 and would have won the tournament had Ogre not transformed. Now they've pretty much become the Yamcha and Krillin of Tekken.
Don’t know I’m not nearly as good as main man in tekken yet I’ve never struggled in any tekken game against the AI at any difficulty. I usually manage clean walkthrough on hardest difficulties (no loses).
I'm convinced he doesn't read my comments. grab breaks are 2+4. and position breaks are 1+3. same way you throw is the same way you break them. someone please tell him this
Given that he played every Tekken game in the series I'm fairly convinced he knows how to break throws lol. He's mentioned it in the previous videos that they're just impossibly difficult to break because of the short time window between the initial animation and the point where throw is no longer breakable.
"This Pepper beef is too Spicy!"
Made me laugh alot in the old days.
and the dragon cannon
A trick : you can watch movies on KaldroStream. Me and my gf have been using it for watching lots of of movies during the lockdown.
@Jett Briar yup, I've been watching on KaldroStream for since november myself :)
@Jett Briar yup, been using kaldrostream for years myself :)
TOO DAMN SPICEY
Tekken in a nutshell:
Zers no reazon to fight...
You ain‘t got one? Well i do!
Underrated comment 😂😂😂😂😂
So... whaduyu wulnt?
This was before he and Paul became walking punchlines, and were actual characters, who just happened to have a comedic element to their personality.
Unfortunately, Tekken became like DBZ. If you're not a Mishima or even related to them, characters become Yamcha.
the unfortunate truth

I would argue against that and say that tekken 4 is rather vibrant and beautiful. Tekken7 is dulll and boring!
Haven't you played tekken 2
It's darker
@@artpastorette4547 We are talking about themes, not visuals.
@@artpastorette4547 no you can't say tekken 7 is boring the fighting style is pretty cool but they did the story mode trash
Do Hwoarang's story! I wanna see Jin sat SO WHATYOU WANT in that Japanese English accent.
Thats Jin story
Funny thing is, from t3 to t5, law is dubbed by Harada himself.
Wait hold on, law was voiced by Harada back then?
@@Fallconn2 yes, the battle voice was Harada. According to wikia Harada dubbed him since T1
And so was Yoshimitsu from T1 to TTT.
But isn't t3 law forrest not Marshall.
@@qualityqueen1553 both of them have the same battle voice.
11:23 the face you make when she tells you she's not on the pill
What would be sick is if they brought back paul in T8 as the only man who could stop kazuya
thats a better idea than guest charactors
there's basically zero chance of this happening
Only Jin/Gouki can sadly beat him, he may beat base Kazuya but with his Devil form in play i doubt Phoenix could pull it off and i think Harada knows it as well.
Paul but putting his career on the line against Kazuya.
that sounds the worst. fuck paul
Funniest, yeah, but it was still very serious and interesting.
That's should've been Law's character throughout the series till 6 and onwards they've butchered it.
You should try the story mode of Lei, Nina and Steve, their endings are connected. nice work man keep going
Freeze
"Fweeze"!
I like to think of the guys in the ending complaining about the food as those people who complain to Harada on Twitter.
I like that most of T4's arenas are realistic and everyday-like, makes it more relatable than, let's say, space stations, volcanos and temples. Here you have streets, a mall and even an underground parking lot, all are reasonable to fight in, even if the stages contain objects in the way.
tekken 4 narrative style is the best . even T7 is no match.
Dark and serious story plot
Yes its the best but what do u mean even t7 is no match ? T7 is the worst in all franchise
Plz do hworang, the rivalry between him and Jin is literally why I used to love the char
This pepper beef is *T O O D A M N S P I C Y*
The entire parking garage is a fighting stage, that's so friggin dope, wall to wall impossible, and I love that stage he fought Paul on, that one would be fun to play on in 7
I miss when characters had their own individual stories :(
The airport music is so soothing!!!🔥🤤
It always gets me man
Man that was epic! I love all of Law's endings but that one is certainly my favorite. Hilarious 🤣!
"We have to pay for this?" *looks at activate windows logo*
I like paul's hair physics
His ending in T5 is pretty funny too
Is David Hayter Law's voice actor? Lol, sounds exactly like him
Surprisingly, Katsuhiro Harada himself recorded the in-game voice clips for Marshall and Forest Law from T1 to T5DR.
@TokyoFool I'm aware of that, but thank you. I've been meaning to edit my reply for a while now.
The AI adjusts itself after getting hit, when it blocks successfully or after a move. So DON'T push buttons or you'll automatically be countered lol.
Do steve's, nina's, and Lei's
Steve and nina are related so it'll be fun+ that extra stage
AI Nina at stage 5-7 were a complete nightmare in Tekken4. I was struggling like hell the old good days against her.
Loved Law's stance in this version.
I fucking love the Junkyard Kick. The Paul and Heihachi fights are so fun to watch, an all.
I love how the guys Law beats up when they dis his food show up at his dojo to learn martial arts from him
I want games to feel like this game again
Next time a costumer complains about the food, I'll beat the absolute fuck out of them. Thank you for showing me the way based Law
THIS is who I've been waiting for. My main, Law! Let's get it.
He sounds like a voice over for a kung fu movie.
I swear the difficulty for stages 4 and 8 were always double than whatever they were set to
This beef is too damn spicy!! Wahh! *proceeds to uppercut him* Ahhh shut the f*** up lol
steves been dieting on the new air and water diet
This airport theme just always gets me it brings back memories
6:01 lmao the audience pushed her back in like "naw bch, u bout to take this ass whoopin"
Honestly, Law deciding to just open up his dojo in the same spot his restaurant was on made me think that it wasn't exactly a problem for him considering he got that Mishima money helping him stay afloat.
Love these Tekken 4 vids man. Do some Hwoarang, he looks badass in Tekken 4.
I never knew this about the body types of Tekken 7 but that is pure laziness on their part the Unreal Engine could really use something like that
Welp, before T7 almost everyone had their own body shape. Now we've got like male/female/gigas/bob/akuma/bears/fahkumram .-.
I know you're not a fan of the character but how about Lei Wulong? He had a very interesting story, too. It was about overwork and had connections to Nina & Steve. Or maybe Lee (or rather Violet for that matter) or King.

12:23 THIS DUDE DOING STRINGS!!!!!!!!!
you should TT1 TT1 is my all time fave tekken
1:57 in tekken 7 all of them has the same body XD
Lmao they do 😆
@@ReeseRAGE look at Lei XD
That’s one of the things I didn’t like about law in T7 he looks too huge to be as fast as he is
I want more of this. The main man’s tears are too good.
Ah.....the birth of Law's DSS.
This ending was funny and memorable. The Tekken 7 one was something evil that tried hard to be a joke... and it is not sadly. And it's forgettable.
Tekken 4 had the best stages and music
My favourite character!
TEKKEN4 TEKKEN4 TEKKEN TEKKEN4
