1969 was before the merge of the afl and nfl. It's like how Cleveland has 8 championships, but they don't count because it was before the merge to create the super bowl. No team has 28 in the first quarter of a super bowl era playoff game, besides Cleveland now.

Both franchises are eerily similar right now... aging, declining franchise QBs let down the team in the second half of the season after a hot start, won the division but lost embarrassingly to a division rival immediately in the playoffs, and now have major questions on what's next with cap casualties incoming. I hate to say it but this was Seattle's best chance at a SuperBowl since 2014 and they blew it. Really hope John Schneider works some magic this offseason

Do the Steelers have that much talent? At WR sure,and on the D line, but the linebacking corp is down to 3rd string, the secondary has big holes, the O line is lackluster, and that all combines to an offense that can't keep the ball and a defense that can't stop the run.
The offensive line is diminishing, can't open no holes for conner... yeah I do agree with you with the tj watt being the only starting linebacker left, but at this time of the season everybody has players that suffered major injuries...
The run defense was suspect, then losing Highsmith... it was just all bad from the beginning, then Joe Haden not playing too SMH

Obviously we got a team that everyone loved to hate when they were winning and acting out on tik tok, but reality is: it is what it is. We lost. Accept that and now we got to find ourselves and find a way to reload this offense. O line is bad, Big Ben is gone either this year or next year and we need to see who takes his place. Conner is gone and we need a solid running back.
Our secondary can’t tackle. Edmunds isn’t worth the first pick we took him with. Minkah regressed a little bit, Nelson sucked this. Where was our pass rush? Spillane sucks. Overrated because Bush wasn’t there. At the end of the day. We need to find retool and figure it out. At the end of the day we aren’t contenders with Chiefs or the Packers and at this point, the Browns.
Let’s see what the front office will do. I want to see what we can do, because our championship window is closed.

I agree with you on most points. But Minkah hasn't regressed it's more of he's not gonna have 7 ints a year, plus he can't show anything if they just run the ball down our throats. The O Line is terrible, our OC needs to go. Our Pass rush was never the same without Dupree, Noticed in the Buffalo Game we had 0 pressures all night. I still don't think our super bowl window is closed but if not next year then idk when, because Lord knows when we can get another Franchise QB

Tomlin should be on the hot seat next season. Too many times this team has underperformed in the postseason despite the huge amount of talent we had.
The only time he has won a Super Bowl was the with the team Bill Cowher built and despite the fact this team has had so much talent over the years he has only Two Super bowl appearances and one win.
@@deaf2demands706 I think JuJu is salvagable if you get rid of Tomlin, he's still new enough that he can alter his concrete. Might not be. But it sure feels like a lot of the culture problems with unfounded arrogance, disrespect to opponents, and playing down can be laid at Tomlin's feet.
