Bullet Journal® (or BuJo® for short) was created by Ryder Carroll. You can learn all about the original system of bullet journaling on the website bulletjournal....

There is something so satisfying to me about bound books, I just love them. I haven’t been in rings since way back, I do not like the writing experience near the rings at all and they just feel so fussy - especially in the smaller sizes. I’m not an all in one planner person, my brain works better when I have clean edges in my system. My short term memory is awful so having a pre printed bound planner of some type open for reference while I use a separate daily book for all the tasks, lists and notes works for my ADHD. The more I have to flip around in one book the more frustrated I get. Some weeks are pretty, some are not, but I am more productive when my pages feel fun. I am motivated by playing with color. I’m enjoying your channel!
So fabulous! I hope you bought that little Dior bag. It is so cute. You are right. The kislux is handbag heaven.
If storage is your only issue with rings planners, there are some PVC rings storage binders on Amazon that you can store them in on your shelf after you’re finished using them. I know what you mean though. I started out the year in a rings planner too, with the intention of getting one of those binders to store it in….but I barely used it so there is nothing really to save. I went back to the Stalogy. There is just something about flipping through the Stalogy as you’re using it that is so satisfying! I don’t know if it’s because it kind of feels like holding a Bible in my hands or what, but I just love the Stalogy! Last year I used a B6 and this year I used an A5 and I love them both. For next year I’m thinking about cutting down an A5 to standard size so I can use all my travelers notebooks that my sister-in-law sent me for covers. Thanks for sharing your ideas! Your Stalogy videos are my favorite! Wishing you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
To archive a year of a rings planner:
Creative, inexpensive version: punch some cardstock or scrapbookpaper -- cut to size or just slightly larger. Use thick thread (button & carpet), string, thinner yarn, or book rings through the middle of each set of holes. Tie loosely enough that you can open and turn the pages.
Storage binder: for Personal : Franklin Planner sells a storage binder. Compact size will work for a Filofax Personal-size rings
Your OneNote setup saved my worklife with the volume and different teams i have, keeping track of things. Thank you so much. Still going strong with it. Also, your routines and brain dump areas have been amazing for my BuJo
I use a Franklin rings planner, and they have a rings storage binder available for purchase. It comes with a sticker for the year to put on the outside of the binder so you know what year it is at a glance. Also, they are available in different colors.
I tried rings and it cemented my belief that rings are not for me. I dislike having the rings in the way and then is the question of storage. I much prefer book bound. That said, Weeks did not work for me at all. Will be trying travelers notebooks this year and MAYBE an A6. My Hobonichi works for at work daily but I took inspiration from you and am BuJoing my yearly at work - projects, goals and such and it is so nice being centered and focused. That has also worked well for me. I love to write so that also helps. Merry Christmas to you and your family! Enjoy your little one.
I use my stalogy purely for writing and getting my emotions down. It's perfect for that.
I was so impressed by your little red A6 that I ordered one as well as the stalogy notebook and am really having so much fun setting it up and designing it ❤❤. Thank you all your videos !
I only use a Hobonichi Weeks to plan for the last 6 years. Love your videos. Thankyou.
You inspired me. I added a swatch of Christmas wrap to my planner.
Hobonichi can be a little pricey so you have to be all in. They are beautiful.
You said, so very succinctly, the exact reason why I don't like rings. 🤯
Dear Annie: a reminder.....YOU.DON'T.LIKE.RINGS!! 💜
🤣
I was hoping you would show your holiday planner!! I loved your July set up!!
😂😂😂I relate! I’ve tried they look so cute and I never can make it work for me either!
Tn worked best for me. Rings should have done it for me in theory. In reality, the rings were a huge fail.
For your ring wallet take it as budget planner Thant what i do , it’s just an idea 😅
Omg. We had the same planner experience in 2024😅. I also love to look at ring planners and the idea of them. But they are just not functional for me. I started to notice after binge watching tons of personal and pocket ring videos that they are stuffed with sticki notes randomly all over the place w different information everywhere. So I was like hmmmm. How functional are they for the users? Idk
Rings seem more Trendy than anything.
Did I see that the Ohuhu alcohol markers don’t bleed through on the paper in the Vicid Scribbles bullet journal? Or did you have to do something special to keep it from bleeding through?
They would definitely bleed through. I used the alcohol markers on sticker paper then cut it out and put it in my bullet journal.
@ oh that’s brilliant! I never thought of that, thank you!!
@thesassyraven I cannot take credit for that idea. Mingo Studio here on RUclips is where I learned this trick. She has lots of amazing bullet journal ideas! Definitely check her out!
What is "Tipping In"? Did I hear that wrong?
