@@SpencersStuffTV I dunno what kind of upgrade you can get from it… The new ones are maybe a bit brighter, but in terms of IQ, functionality, etc. it’s the same basically.

@@warpathh I do not, but I like a brighter panel for gaming. It makes it feel more immersive. I've been dealing with a massive amount of panel dimming on the games I play due to abl. Not to mention the near black issues OLED has. Just ready to switch technology. I really like how mini led looks personally. I use a lot of dynamic backlights and dreamview from govee so the brighter panel helps produce better colors on that as well
Good stuff brotha BTW I ended up buying the a90j and returning my c1 and I do not regret it at all haha this tv is insane and really is amazing for an oled depth richness of color luminance the pop on the hdr on this oled is insane for an oled I did not expect it to be this big of a noticable difference and the xr processor truely truely is something special happy you did another video after I let yall know it's pixel shift I would rather this be out there to many people not knowing what it is thinking its a bug when Sony oled tvs have always done this lol

I was and am blown away by the amount of detail and depth the image brings for gaming, shows, movies, etc. The pixel shift had me worried that I had a faulty unit 😂 but I'm happy it's just a feature. Also rtings put up their panel calibrations. I didn't go through and do any of their recommended settings, but I tried their white point and color balances to see how they would look on my tv. Definitely an improvement for me. I recommend checking them out!

HDTV test He said it's the best oled he's ever seen he said the professor is something special and he hasn't seen anything like it in the 14 years he's been doing tvs he said the hdr impact is the best of any oled and keep in mind he just got done reviewing the g1 before this tv lol I mean the soby is getting a win everywhere right now El major compared it against the Panasonic and lg and he said the Sony was best and so did av passion I mean Sony is killing it with this tv this year lol but for real man I've checked out Sony oled the past few years and lg has been very close but this year Sony stepped it up I didn't expect there processing to get even better but somehow it did lol

@@reviewforthetube6485 I did watch vince's review. He was spot on all around with how I feel about the panel! It has its minor quirks, but all around I've been blown away by the consistency of the panel. It's the only oled so far that I've seen and gone "wow"
@@SpencersStuffTV thats a bummer it went down to 1400$ for the 55” i got the a90k for 1270$ with taxes at 48” its badass not crazy bright but awesome colors oleds arent very bright in general except the qd oled but the colors and black levels are super accurate and there amazing i love my a90k
OMG i was working on excel worksheets and I lost my scroll bar on the right side and though this thing was defective. Luckily I found this video, this thing was about to go back to the store with a "defective" screen after a just a few days of ownership. lol. I wonder what else could be done here, does it have to move the screen so far that you lose some of the functionality of what you are working on? Maybe it would be nice to have a configurable pixel shift that only goes 1mm, instead of 2 or 3mm by default.

Why does classy recommend turning pixel shift off on his a90j ? I have the a80j but am leaving it on as the tv says it's recommended. I don't game at all just movies and tv so is it meant to turn off for non gamers ?
@@SpencersStuffTV also his latest video he's telling us how to disable dolby vision. People on the forum say it's a mess but it still looks good to me.
@@jkon1970 in my opinion, if you like how it looks, that is all that matters. There's a point where you can get caught up in the charts, say everything sucks, be miserable, or just accept that OLED tvs are not a perfect display, and just enjoy what you have... I prefer the second option personally. He wouldn't like me using advanced contrast enhancer on medium when watching Dolby vision content either 😂
Hi bro do u watch sport? i watch soccer, boxing, i heard the ASBL hit it often, i really want that tv & because im sportsman this is the only thing makes me think again lol kinda sad because of how good, bright & sharp this oled tv is! If you know if i change the channel, then i go back to it did it take long time before it ,•’ASBL’ hit? Or it just take 3 or a bit more minutes, sorry for the long tittle & thanks for creating those amazing videos big bro.
I do watch some sports and unfortunately abl does kick in due to the scoreboards on screen. If you want to watch sports I recommend getting an led tv. I think LG has a localized dimming on their TV's as opposed to dimming the whole panel when there are logos on screen. If you want the best for sports, you may be better waiting a year or two to see what the qd OLED does. It may be a better option
Sony A80J Owner here. Had this TV as a daily driver for almost 3 years now. Heavy usage. Zero burn-in and I’ve never had pixel shift enabled. YMMV.
I'm happy your TV has held up so well! I don't have any burn in on my a90j either... although I'm definitely ready for an upgrade

I have the a90k had it for 3 months and its incredible for gaming and movies no burn in or image problems
I still have the a90j and it's been a great panel... Although I wish it was a lot brighter. It's still too dim for me
