- Quick review of the SnoCap Pro Series trailer enclosure.
It is mounted on a Karavan Raptor 22’ + 2’ V Snowmobile trailer.
Interior height is 65” which allows you to load the sleds without cracking your head or walking around hunched over.
An added gas shock prop pole for the front nose makes lifting and lowering the front easy as can be.
I opted to have the frame fully welded VS. a bolt together kit for added strength. The cover itself is bolted to the trailer though if I need to haul something taller/wider in the future.
We added LED lights from Superbrightleds.com to the interior with a brake away trailer battery enclosure from Etrailer.com. The LEDs are made for the interior of exterior signs and are in bundles of 20 light modules.
This is one of the best upgrades we have made to the trailer, as far as towing and keeping the sleds clean. We kept all the extra gear in totes inside the trailer as well to save room in the truck bed.
Thanks for watching!
Would love to get more info on your lighting set up!
No problem, they are pretty easy to set up and I don’t think I had more than $100-150 invested. Sno-caps wanted around $250 for their factory led kit, so I built something better and cheaper.
@@Eighty8Fitter couple of questions, did you wire in a separate switch in lieu of the the break away pin?
Did you just use a roll of the led strip lighting?
Great setup! How much does it cost?
I have a 16' Triton.
I paid right around $3500 for mine so yours should be quite a bit cheaper
Any plans on selling this trailer?
I was thinking about it, where are you located?
@@Eighty8Fitter Southern California. I'm sure we're far from eachother. I woukd drive of course. What city and State are you in?
@@anythingadrenaline4515 lol I’m in Minnesota
@@Eighty8FitterMakes sense. Snowmobile trailers are hard to find in California regardless. Do you have an idea what your selling it for?
