Let’s go Jingyeom!! Yes, Jinyoung often layers his vocals! He sounds so understated and effortless but when you think about it he gave us so much range?? His low notes in the harmony were so deep but he also went places with that falsetto. It’s impressive how he transitions between his chest voice and head voice, even live. Also, he sings the prettiest runs. I love how chill his track is - that chorus has been stuck in my head ever since the song dropped! 💚

When the title was first disclosed we were all speculating on what kind of song it was going to be, because like you mentioned, ponytail can be associated with... this and that 👀 Jinyoung's Cotton Candy is a delight. Back in college, local music scene had this era where songs like Cotton Candy was the rage. Cheery, wistful pop with a little bit of sentimental tinge... and I haven't heard anything like that for a while until CC 💚 And yes, he was harmonizing with himself!
