quantum leap was one of the greatest shows ever. apparently if there was a 6th season, in 1 episode he was going to jump into a cartoon mouse like tom and jerry style
Loved this episode, guys. One of the more notorious "unresolved" finales was ALF. It was part of a multi-episode plotline which involved ALF being captured, then of course ultimately there was supposed to be a happy ending to the adventure. It was suddenly cancelled, and the series literally ends with Alf being captured by the government with no humor involved whatsoever, then the final credits. It was both kind of sad, and to the casual viewer darkly hilarious at the same time. Cheers, gents. Keep 'em coming!
Dungeons and Dragons was hands down my favorite cartoon back then. I recorded the audio each week with my portable cassette deck as we could not afford a VCR at that time. I did not care. i could listen to them whenever I wished .
I could talk about Quantum Leap till the cows come home. That's a funny saying, seriously where the heck are all the cows! Why won't they come home? 😄 Good stuff boys. 🙂
Great job!! My favorite Mork and Mindy moment was when Mork threw the egg in the air and said "fly, be free". I'm with you fellas on Christopher Reeves being the best Superman. I loved the wink he did at the end of the movie. I watched quantum leap a few times. It was a good show.
I was about 10 when that was on tv and watched it religiously every Tuesday evening. It's bloody brilliant you'll love it. A couple of birthdays ago my mum and dad got me the entire box set (I'm 39🙂) it still holds up today for me. Good Times, stay safe ✌️
I hate it when shows end without really "ending". One that bothers me is Mulberry. Took place in the early 90s, and was canceled after 2 seasons, but the last show of the second season left it hanging. Great video once again. Good joke, Greg! Thanks for reminding me to put ketchup on my grocery list (hahaha).
I agree though. Out of all the shows you mentioned I was massively disappointed with they ending of Quantum Leap. Even The Sopranos ending didn't bother me as much. Also I'd love to continue to believe you guys do this completely unscripted, but you're both too good at what you do. Much love of the channel from the US. 🤔😎
Quantum leap at the end left me wondering why i watched it all. Such a let down. Enterprise never appealed to me because the ship looked way to advanced compared to Kirk's ship. But I caught a few episodes and it seemed that Archers ship always got away from trouble at the last minute. That Borg episode was silly when you consider that the federation have no record of it later on. Oh and the last episode...really? Sapphire and steel didn't really end. More shows were planned but both actors were nolonger available.
Hey boys, nice to see you back maybe you can do another show on the new retro consoles etc, loved Mork and Mindy not bad for another spin off from Happy Days, miss seeing you both every week, how about Manimal that didn’t last long Keep it up guys still funny after all these years
Lois and Clark’s target audience was women. I remember reading that at the time. It focused on issues related to Lois and her relationship with Clark, their careers at the newspaper with a bit of fantasy/adventure thrown in. Not one for the lads but my mum always watched it 😂
The actor who played the bar tender, in Quantum Leap, was in the very first episode as well. Meaning that the cosmic overlord was always watching over Sam. Spooky!!
Got a few. The Tripods, BBC - They were covering the original trilogy ( I believe John Wyndham wrote more books later), and they made season 1 and 2 which covered the first two books and then cancelled it. I read the books, so I found out what happened, but it sucked as I was really enjoying the series. Sapphire and Steel, BBC - there's been a documentary on it where they covered how it was just cancelled, but it ends on a cliffhanger. Angel, The WB - Spun off from Buffy The Vampire Slayer and frequently crossing over with it, the show had excellent ratings. The creator, Joss Whedon, had intended for it to run for seven seasons (as he's a big Star Trek fan), but when Buffy finished at the end of it's seventh season, the network didn't want to continue to run a spin-off show without its parent, so they cancelled Angel at the end of Season 5. The writers had to quickly rework the season finale into a series finale, which still left a lot of things unanswered. Joss Whedon completed the story arc he had intended for the show as comic books.
You should do a video of shows that had great endings, the Young Ones had a great ending. I assume you watch Brit shows? Lol I can give you a great list.
Hey, I'm subscribed and want to watch your show every week, but somehow RUclips doesn't bring it up for me. I always have to search it. Is there a problem with RUclips's algorithm?
I loved Lois and Clark. Dean Cain is a great superman! I love all things Superman so obviously I love Christopher Reeve aswell. Smallville is brilliant
Search here for (Rockcandy Live In Toronto 1988). Enjoy the show! Also search here for (Sucker For a Pretty Face) by RockCandy, it's a great under rated 80s album!!!!!
Mork and Mindy never missed episode I was sad when it finished but all things must come to a end just wish we knew what happened to them maybe they jumped into his egg and whent to see Orson ? What do you guys think ?
I loved Lois and Clark The New Adventures of Superman as a kid but it IS very hard to watch it as an adult with how cheesy it is. Plus the fact that we now know Dean Cain is a Trump supporter puts a bit of a downer on it too.

Love you guys!!! Reminds me of soccer AM humour. Those days are lost but you have brought it back along with the best decade ever ... the 80s

Great show as ever gents , another unfinished series which I wished they would have completed was the 80's cartoon Dungeons & Dragons.
You can find a fans made finale episode on RUclips based on the original written script
Dungeons and Dragons was hands down my favorite cartoon back then. I recorded the audio each week with my portable cassette deck as we could not afford a VCR at that time. I did not care. i could listen to them whenever I wished .
Great stuff from my fave channel. Keep em coming chaps.
Was lovely to “Ketchup” with you guys again! Great episode gents

T&T on a Saturday just like the oh so old days 👍😄
Quantum Leap is one of my favourite programs too. I’d listen to you talk about it all day long.
Good to see you back on the roll lads. Well in there with the ‘So Greg. Oh the PO Box address is ready good stuff 👍
I was at the time of my life that I was just too busy to watch even a single episode of Quantum Leap. I do hear it was pretty amazing.
I was about 10 when that was on tv and watched it religiously every Tuesday evening. It's bloody brilliant you'll love it. A couple of birthdays ago my mum and dad got me the entire box set (I'm 39🙂) it still holds up today for me. Good Times, stay safe ✌️

I’ve worked it out why there’s no new episode… Tea n Toast is now an Unresolved TV Show!!
I always thought that Star Trek: Enterprise should have ended with Sam leaping out of Captain Archer.
Yes, but Sam can only leap within his own lifetime.
I agree though. Out of all the shows you mentioned I was massively disappointed with they ending of Quantum Leap. Even The Sopranos ending didn't bother me as much.

That email sign should never leave. I remember when you first showed it.

Series 4 of Blake's 7, with late, great Paul Darrow. That is a cliffhanger
I was not aware until now that Paul Darrow is no longer with us. RIP. Blake 7 was also my fave. Maybe a reboot?
Don't forget that in quantum leap sam taught Michael Jackson to moonwalk
I'm pretty sure the last episode of Quantum Leap stated in the epilogue Sam never leapt home. So it wasn't really unresolved.
When is your next show going to be on . And what's happened to your shop...... great shows ....
Been a while since you've posted a video. Hope you guys are okay. Ty from Ohio. 👋😁
Brilliant episode guy's thank you
The actor who played the bar tender, in Quantum Leap, was in the very first episode as well. Meaning that the cosmic overlord was always watching over Sam. Spooky!!
He was also D Day in Animal House.
@@ralphbitter3949 😁😁😁 An Animal House fan >I got me the DVD with hearing how good the movie is.
Awesome as always guys
We do know that Sam never leapt home because a bit of text that came up at the end of the episode told us.
I love Greg’s Ghostbusters!! Top.
Got a few.

Happy Days to Mark and Mindy.
Christopher Reeve, was/is Superman!
Quantum Leap was an awesome show. Many happy memories watching that show.
Oh crap Greg😂 My husband is still laughing!😂😂😂
Very much miss you lads. Hope all is well. Cheers!
Yay the board is back! Does not have to be in capitals. 😁
Totally agreed with everything in this episode. Could have spend more time talking about Teri Hatcher though 😂
Great show lads
I LOVED Quantum Leap.
Surprised you never did an episode of Quantum Leap on your podcasts in the early days.
Still could do a podcast on it.
Nice to see you to see you nice one guys
great show Farscape had a cliffhanger but because of the fans outcry the studio had to do a short 2 episode final tv mini film.
what about sliders, i loved that show
You should do a video of shows that had great endings, the Young Ones had a great ending. I assume you watch Brit shows? Lol I can give you a great list.
