- In this JASP tutorial, I explain how to run Descriptive Statistics in JASP. This includes some basic definitions of the statistics and an overview of the plots JASP has available.

I am very appreciating JASP and it Developers and very much thankful to their contribution to the world.
Great work, Alexander!
That’s a great tutorial! Thank you. I need help with something else:
How can I properly summarize the information related to the sample (i.e., sex, age, marital status, course, year, job).
Note1: how to find any variables that have typing or coding errors? If so, identify the variables and indicate how could I would fix/intervene in these cases?
Thanks
I usually use Means and Standard Deviations for summarizing my descriptive data, but you can use whatever you'd like! I'm not sure what else you're asking with properly summarizing...
JASP doesn't have native support for spreadsheet, so you would want to look for issues in Excel or Google Sheets before opening the data file in JASP. I use Find/Replace for errors. IT also means you just need to use your eyeballs unfortunately.
Hello! Thank you so much for this video! Is there any way we can contact you for help with our school work?
You can email me, but beware that due to the nature of my work, unpaid labor is my lowest priority, so if you have burning, urgent questions, I am not the one to contact.
