Reminds me of a further polished pixel piracy version which I love to see - pixel piracy was huge fun, but it really felt like nothing was finished. Especially lategame was horrible and a bunch of things weren't balanced/frustrating, but it was a huge amount of fun. Will check out this one

Pixel Piracy was abandoned years ago as the devs had some sort of issues, but it's been brought back to life and is getting bug fixes and upgrades. It's quite worth checking out if you like retro indy games.

Just a heads up the skill point damage upgrade only upgrades your melee damage (so boarding the other ships or defending against boarders), not canon damage.
