    What a win from Taz McKenzie! It was so great to see him winning with sliks in the rain.
    But the best thing was that the 65 was on top of the podium once again!

    What for races those were! Sat on the edge of my seat the whole time. Also makes me think what would happen if the Ninja had 500 more rpms on disposal... Sucker finish to be out dragged to the finish line by Danilo, but he rode the wheels off and deserves to be on the podium. Unbelievable tyre failure to Toprak as he rode the piss off the Yamaha and the rear tire, to keep Bautista at bay. He deserved to win that race, for sure. Spectacular weekend that hopefully reignited the spirit of whole team, and cannot wait for next round. The championship is out of reach for us, but for the next year, I expect Ninja to be on par with power with rest of the field and to see you troop towards another championship win. 400 starts is unbelievable, to remain on top, but I'm sure cheering to a hundred more! Jonny the G.O.A.T.!

    Jonny, we said hello in Salt Lake City @ Miller's in 2011 when you were with Ruben Xaus on the Honda. I have followed your maturation into a 6x WSBK CHAMPION and to see you achieve 400 starts is simply amazing and a testament to your durability. I wish you the best as you make the change to Yamaha as the Zedex just doesn't seem to be the leader of the pack anymore. Cheers & a beer from this side of the pond, mate. Thanks for the YEARS of enjoyment watching you flog the living F outta of a Superbike!

    You all needed that win, it's been a tough year for everybody. Lots of thinking to do about your life, racing and family. Why not make a vlog about your thought process and how you are going to make your decisions. Appreciate you may not be able to air it for several months (or ever!) but it would be the ultimate BTS vlog as you ponder which path your life will take as a professional athlete/rider with all the sacrifices that entails. Good to see you on top again.

    switching to yamaha might be a good decision but i would love to see you on a ducati..... still, if you choose to stay in kawasaki i hope they give you a new bike with a new engine, you've gave them 6 in row...

    • @Mechashiva76
      @Mechashiva76 11 месяцев назад +3

      from what I can see, Kawasaki already has the zx-10r listed as the 2024 model on their website. so I assume no new evolution to the bike... but maybe with the 500 revs back and whatever else Kawasaki is waiting on, that will put the bike back where it needs to be, or as it was originally intended in 2021 before Dorna stepped in :P . For the record, Kawasaki hasn't started using the additional 500 revs they got back through concessions. Even Rea said he doesn't understand it.

    • @mikeyffw_30
      @mikeyffw_30 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@Mechashiva76u r right Kawasaki has already listed 2024 model. As per i know, zx10rr 2024 is base road going version of Jonny's current bike.

    • @mikeyffw_30
      @mikeyffw_30 11 месяцев назад +3

      @@Mechashiva76yah Kawasaki hasn't started using 500 revs but u know its not just about revs and engine power. They need completely new bike. Current ZX10RR is now old.

    • @juliuscarlopoblete2092
      @juliuscarlopoblete2092 11 месяцев назад

      @@Mechashiva76 ducati had a similar problems with the panigale R before and they have no choice but to go with new the V4 layout...
      so i think there are only two ways for the Kawasaki, either:
      Release a base bike zx10rr with the same engine but with higher revs and other bits needed to match the competition
      Or
      Design a whole new engine with bigger bore and bigger valves compared to the current to match the power, updated electronics and retain the same chassis..
      The trick ducati pulled off with the V4R is they made the base bike powerful enough so that they have more room to work on tuning it for racing and not be limited with the WSBK rules..

  • @alanoliver379
    @alanoliver379 11 месяцев назад

    Wow! Lots of support here for Rea. "Not 100% content with things at present" Though it seems. Could level that at 90% of racers currently, Some of them way better than you Going to walk halfway through a 2 year contract with the Team that helped you "Win" 6 titles? Nothing like loyalty when the goings gets tough eh?
    Really think you are better than Toprak, Because if he cannot beat Bautista don't see how you will tbh.... But time will tell I guess.......
