They will work on it will take some years though it's a lot of work, but they will do it like they did age of empires and other games everyone said wouldn't work on console, 8-10 years ago people said mmos can never be on consoles, look where we are now.

Sadly I don’t think they have plans on making it available on console as it wasn’t designed for it too many buttons
@@OracleOfDarkness1666 WoW already has gamepad support, and there are addons for nearly native gamepad support. they just gotta make that addon baseline into the game itself.
@@OracleOfDarkness1666 its very easy for them to format it for console, its not complicated at all, modders already did it with the addon "consoleport"

I don't get the advertisement if the games not gonna be available simply from the Xbox app on pc. I get there was the purchase of blizzard but there are other games available on both console and the Xbox app on pc.
Need the improve that new player experience after 10 for these new players; maybe do something like the 15 year anniversary and do some short story quests for each expansion this could unlock each locked zone get them to understand how to get there etc
Regular WoW PC player here. Native controller support has been datamined before, y'all might not be waiting that long

WoW has just SO many more buttons to press. Hell, there are classes I avoid playing even on keyboard.
I think it being on game pass Ultimate makes more sense to combine the two subscriptions
They should put this on xbox and ps5 so we get more player in game. The more player plays this game the better the game will become.

Hi Xbox console peeps giant WoW nerd here, WoW would be difficult on console for anything other then casual play and like collecting for max level higher end play, like raiding (beyond randomly put together groups) and Mythic Dungeons(dungeons with hard mode modifiers+time trial) due to add ons, like for almost anything in organized group play you would need Deadly Boss Mods/Big Wigs(boss timers and assists that are otherwise really obtuse things like bosses spells coming up next etc and stuff) and Weak Auras to track your buffs or your debuffs/combat resources and cooldowns etc etc and I don't know how they'd get that on console

Honestly I thought since it's WoWs 20th anniversary I was convinced they were going to announce for game pass on Xbox. I think wow on controller would be interesting. Maybe soon TM.
