B.C. govt announces nine new wind projects - December 9, 2024

In Vancouver, British Columbia Premier David Eby announces purchase agreements for nine wind projects as a part of BC Hydro’s competitive call for power. The new clean-energy projects will boost the province’s affordable clean-energy supply and generate up to $6 billion in private capital spending.
He is joined by Adrian Dix, the province’s minister of energy and climate solutions, Tamara Davidson, the minister of environment and parks, and Chris O’Riley, the president and CEO of BC Hydro.
