Similar to its predecessor, Nioh 2 is an action role-playing game. Players can create their own playable character, who was a yōkai spirit. Players are equipped with a variety of weapons such as odachi,hatchets,kusarigama,tonfa,sword,spear,switchglaive and dual sword, and earn new skills as they progress in the game. When players defeat a hostile yōkai, some of them may drop a "Soul Cores". Man, im always learning more abt this game. Such depth of mechanics in the Nioh series. I didnt know the weakness part of Carnage would be considered a debuff. And could proc bonuses on that set. I always thought that set to be useless. Actually very useful.

I currently use a purify build similar to a confusion build and pulverize:heaven on all gear. Question about this build as your showcase starts after buff. Seems you are pre-fight buffing using water talisman, extraction, barrier and carnage? (Plus, I haven't done any magic based builds yet and I'm a die hard tonfa fan so been checking this out)
yea i am i showcase builds with buffs applied it's pretty obvious with effect icons in blue showing up on top of screen.

I’ve been running red demon armor with tonfa guns and burn accumulation, along with some fire damage increases and skill damage boosts, it’s pretty fun, just blows up normal mobs most times. A lot of bosses can’t be burned tho so it loses a bit there on raw dps.
yea i was gonna use the same gear set but don't have enough devastation inheritables.

hey war how's it goin bro.apologies if it looks like im using same gear from switchglaive build.in switchglaive setup i was using 4 piece kingo,fox mask,and 1 warrior greaves.for this tonfa build,i'm not using kingo set at all.I'm using 4pc bonus from moonprayer set,1 fox mask, and 3pc bonus from genmei omnyo set.i wanted to showcase how strong moonprayer is without using kingo for this build

i do sometimes but also depending on the weapon i like using the talent called break

hey bro no need for twilight....go tothe sub mission called prayer in the moonlight.and when you spawn in, the revenant standing in front of you drops the armor as well as the smithing text (rng)
