My sis is a cosmetologist. Dye the ends of your hair first and the roots last. I repeat dye the end first and the roots last!! Your head is hotter near the roots hence why her hair color near the roots changed faster
Cierra Smith that’s what she did that’s why her mid section and tips are at a level 9-10 and her roots are more of a orange tone lever 7-8 it would have been the opposite if she started at her roots ...
I love all blonde colors. I was dyeing mine blonde over 20 yrs. I just started changing up to a reddish(only temporary lol) when I wanted mine real blonde I will use frost n tip. Mine was so blonde at one time it looked like platinum. Watching your video making me wanna dye mine back blonde. Only thing about blonde you definitely have to keep it moisturized..
Maybe next time have a friend help you with saturation in the back to avoid the missed spots and dark areas. Not a terrible job for a DIY. Kudos for your bravery.
Hey! How soon after you got your locks did u start dyeing? I'm 3 months in Nd I started with crotchet method, roots interlocked. I have 3 C type hair, I'm biracial. My locks are super frizzy and fuzzy and I have a lot of loose hairs right now... I was thinking that dyeing or bleaching would help the locking process due to the drying out of the hair ??
Hi!! I totall feel you with the frizziness and stray hairs! Before my locs matured, I felt like my whole head was one giant fuzz ball lol. Even now, the center of my locs (which have a bit looser texture) are always full of stray hairs and I'm always confused as to where those came from. But I've just learned to go with the flow 🤷🏾♀️ As for dyeing, my hair didn't get drier per se in the long run after I bleached or dyed. When I bleached, it was alternating between dry and suuuuuper moisturized for like 2 weeks then it went back to normal lol. When you dye or bleach your hair, just make sure to do it in stages- you cant achieve super light blonde overnight unless you want some weak strands. I think doing braid outs will help with the frizz as well because what I saw in my locs was that whenever I did braid outs (especially after washing), like each loc was really smooth. All the fly aways were magically staying in place. But ofcourse after like a week when they separate, it will go back to frizz. But that can be a way for you to maintain the frizz for now!
Ffs I just bought clairno bw2 and wella tona 30 and shimmer shampoo and conditioner. Now I have just seen this... And it looks much better.. Will the products I bought be ok
I recommend bleaching with 30 vol developer & powder bleach and toning with wella t18 & 20 vol developer. It gives the longest lasting results with minimal brassiness.

@weddingplanner00 I live in Florida. So our winter months don't get as cold. I keep them moisturized like I do in the summer. I have read that some ppl with locs cover theirs if they live where it snow.
@Weddingplanner00 I'm not blonde now. I love to switch up. Ppl always telling me I don't know what I wanna do with my hair. I am getting braids on top of them maybe in a week or 2 lol
That fade looks way more natural & better than platinum to black hair. Have you ever seen sun bleached hair on someone who lives at the beach and spends alotta time in the water???!?

I’m so scared this is what’s gonna happen to me tho 🥴
@@NoziphoNtsebeza my hair doesn't take color well. I colored 3 months ago and I can definitely tell a difference.
Watching you do this was therapeutic, but I think it would be more informative with a voiceover
And product links

@@Braidlocs I appreciate you either way ♡

I love color but my first rinse caused my hair to be on the floor! You are fortunate to be able to use color without loss or damaged hair
oh lorddddddd
What were the names of the products you used?
Looks good on you but I’d be ‘scurred’ that bleach would make all my locs fall out!
chocpch I'm not braidlocs..but your hair won't fall out long as you keep it moisturized. I love being blonde. Try it you will love it
chocpch i saw a video of a girl that kept hers white and it did ... not her hair but the locs themselves 😔
Are u goingbto let them grow out? That would be cute
@@delorestyler5135 How do you keep your locs moisturized? Especially during winter month when its cold out?
@@WeddingPlanner00 aloe vera gel or coconut oil anything natural is good
How long do u have to wait before dying ur hair over again?
That melanin n the blonde is amazing 💜💜👍🏾
Gorgeous locs Sis! Thank you for the video.
Do you let your hair dry between colors or do you add the purple color on top of the bleach? Beautiful hair!
I washed out the bleach and then I applied the purple color on damp hair!
Wow. Simply breathtaking
Nice video! What’s the first song?
These YT videos will have your hair on the floor but I watch anyway
I love the color and the cut is so cute!🔥🔥🔥
