Thankyou for being the only reviewer on RUclips to review this fantastic Casio it has build quality far exceeding the other AE watches mineral glass protected by a strong bezel strain less steel /hybrid case 200 Myra WR and even the steel band is different and much better than casios usual stock st steel band l don’t understand why it isn’t more popular you can tell your going to get your 10 years out of this one it’s a tank of a watch although like all Casio lovers there’s a special place in my heart for the Royale don”t know why Casio didn’t give the AE-1200 the same build quality of the AE-2100 but many thanks for your reviews of this great Casio. !!! Very good review. I have at least one of every AE-xxxx model. AE-1000(2), AE-1100, AE-1200(3), AE-1300, AE-1400, AE-2000, AE-2100(2) & AE-3000. An AE-1000 was the first Casio I purchased. (I now have 38.) I also like the AE-2100 the most of all the AE-xxxx watches. It shares the case (and 200M WR) with the AE-2000 and my WV-200 Wave Ceptor. Since the AE-1000 and AE-2100 use the same 3198 module, I swapped my most accurate 3198 module from an AE-1000 into my favorite AE-2100. I do wear my G-SHOCK and Lineage Casios more often, but would still highly recommend the AE-2100.
Great choices in watches my friend. You can never go wrong with a reliable Casio. It's incredible how many different ways you can customize them to make them better then they already are.
The song playing in the beginning of the intro and outro of this vid is a cover of "Stay With Me" by Miki Matsubara. Amazing song, and very talented artist who didn't get the recognition she deserved when she was alive.
@@aniluflores5166 Don't hesistate to buy. The triple timezone is the selling point of this watch and Casio nailed it. Worth the money too! I hope you have atleast a 7 inch wrist.
I had the 1200 with metal bracelet, but changed it to a rubber strap as the metal irritated my arm. I ended up gifting it to my son and he likes it. I'm interested in this 2100 with metal and mineral crystal and 200m. Is the metal bracelet the same as the 1200? Or is it better quality and not as sharp inner edges?
It is different. This one has limited range of motion, mainting a circular shape. Quality-wise it's more or less the same as the AE1200; maybe slightly better but not something to write home about.
Ok thanks for your reply. Getting this would be for the bracelet so I'll have to rethink this. I already have a G-Shock Rangrman GW9400-1 and a Casio MRW-200H analogue. Wanting to get a descent everyday watch with a bracelet, maybe up to $300. Any suggestions?
I totally agree with you, I own this watch and yes it is really good the combination of steel and plástic.. just like you said this one apparently went under the radar of watch enthusiasts..9
@@traviswalker8933 Yes. And it' would be worth it. Resin is just that. Resin. There are enough plastic watches already. And no matter how advance the functions. It looks cheap. Steel is so much nicer.

I agree, it should have more recognition, but in a way I like that it's sort of a hidden gem.

Excelent review, just bought mine yesterday! Very nice watch, full of features!
One of my all time favorite Casio watches.
Just bought the AE-3000W and love it! Triple timezone is eyecandy. My next purchase will be the AE-2100.
Good choice! AE2100 is where it's at. By far my favorite "AE" Casio.
@@degenerateWA As promised, I am now a proud owner of the AE-2100. Wearing it right now and love it!
@@mcdus78 what are your thoughts on the AE-3000W?.. I think that's a unique watch and its been under the radar for me!..

Welcome to the channel and thanks for watching!

Maybe that's a good thing, because we get to have our special Casio to ourselves lol
Yes that does make sense, its been on the market for quite some time isnt? Any Casio youre up to recently? Greetings..
Good review. Personally I'm a square G shock guy. But this one looks interesting. (More so than the "Royale" in my opinion.)
The Royale has so much untapped potential if Casio is willing to get creative with it. Thanks for the feedback.
@@degenerateWA If Casio would make it in steel instead of resin, it would be exactly what the doctor ordered.
@@MrPleers you do have to pay the price for a steel cased watch.

@@MrPleers a guy makes steel cases for the AE-1200 but they don't come cheap.
C00l😀😀😀
It's a big watch?
For me personally I don't think it's big. I think it would be considered "medium".
You should also review the WV-M200. A tough looking WaveCeptor watch.
Will do. I'll put that on my 'wishlist' 😁
How or where did you get yours? Thank you for the heads up!..
