- Hello and Welcome to my channel! I'm CA and today I am going to show you how to write and run Java programs on Visual Studio Code. This video is going to work for older computers as well which run Windows 7 with 32 bit architecture, and undoubtedly on latest computers as well which have 64 bit architecture.

Facing *Latest JDK issue*?

Install the same extensions that I'm installing.
CAUSE-
======
You might have installed Java extension pack.
Java extension pack will require latest version of JDK as it has more features to give (debugging, etc.)

@@EverythingComputerized Bro I seen It fixed that "Install or locate jdk" error but after sometime I noticed
My vs code notified these 2 errors.
Couldn't start client Language Support for Java
Couldn't start client Language Support for Java (Syntax Server)
by "Language Support for Java™ by Red Hat" Extension
I even installed the same version of this you shown in video,
but It shows IntelliCode required >1.17.1 version of "Language Support for Java™ by Red Hat".
"Language Support for Java™ by Red Hat" versions >1.17.1 requres JDK 11 or above.
How can I solve this error bro?

I have 32bit os...so I installed jdk version 8..but in vs code it requires jdk 17 or more....I installed the same extensions u told..please tell me the solutions if u can

Brother in environment variable path is not there in my laptop what should I do?

Download jdk 8. Follow exact same process as I shown
Locating local jdk is required in vs code by language support and when locating it shows folder does not has java home

Didnt face these issues in my case brother!
I had installed java in a different boot of windows which didn't have java ever installed previously.
Try to do exact same process, I'm sure it'd work.

i have a query can you please clear that,
i have 32 bit operating system so it only allows me to install jdk version 8 not above than that but in VS code it requires jdk 17 or above so in this what i can do ??

Sir I am having one more issue
I have installed JDK 8 and added the path too and check it by command prompt by typing javac ,and it is giving some output
But in vs code the error is coming-"could not load main function"...I have installed only those 3 extensions which you have mentioned...
Please tell what I have to do further.
See.. you might have given different class name and java file name. That also causes this issue..

I told in video too that if ur computer is >= windows 8 and 64bit, then go ahead with latest version.
As far as this is concerned, i wasn't prompted to install latest version.. i did the steps 1 day before uploading this video.
If you did same thing, please let me know what you were asked to do, I'll examine that.

That's were u got stuck in.. install the extensions same as mine.
I used code runner for running java.. and java extension pack uses something else..
