I was raised as a Christian, but the more information I’ve sought out and learned, the more I’ve been able to see how Christianity as a religion is just as vulnerable to human vice (or “the devil”) as are other religions or spiritual traditions. You certainly don’t have to believe everything you read or hear about, but the more info you take in and observe and analyze, the better you can discern whether or not it seems true to you or otherwise meshes with your current view, and then you might want to modify your beliefs accordingly. Just a thought. I hope that made sense to you. Anyway, good on you for having an open mind.
