Just ordered one for my 2021 1794 Edition. I really liked your install video. It showed the main concerns I had about installing this and convinced me to get a winch before installing the bumper. Since I have the fancy model, it was tough to find a bumper I liked that didn't interfere with the grille sensor and had provisions for the parking sensors. Hopefully I can get the factory fog lights to work with this bumper. I will have to fab a bracket, but not a big deal. I will definitely be watching your video when I install mine!
Awesome! I think you will like the bumper, I love mine so far! Yes definitely get a winch before, so you do not have to take it all apart again! Thanks for watching 👊🏼👊🏼
Did you pull the bumper back off to add the “light bar area” grill? Did you have any issues mounting the top plate as a last step? (Heard there may be an issue with holding the top plate nuts in place - possibly having to remove the grill…?)
The light bar I’m running wouldn’t work with the “light bar grill” I think it’s specifically made for the one they sell on their website. I’m thinking of modifying it to fit though. Yes to remove the top plate the grill has to come off, it’s not too much of a hassle
Nice! I have had the opportunity to use it 3 times now, twice in mud and once in sand. It works great, just make sure your wireless remotes are working 100% of the time. I had issues with mine and they sent me a new controller with the transmitter and I haven’t had any issues since.
@@bfm_overland bad ass man the winch you got is it the 2s plus? Did it fit with the won’t til box mounted up top you didn’t have to relocate it? I’m running the same iron man 4x4 bumper.
@@bfm_overland we’re all the connections away from the coolant lines? I don’t want them to rub and wear out the insulation on the wires. I should be getting it tomorrow and installing tomorrow.
The Winch looks like a tight fit behind the bumper since it pokes up a bit. I bought the raid bumper with all the lights from ironman and was wondering if there is enough room for the winch to fit with the light bar installed?
Yes plenty of room! It’s a tight fit by the cooler lines for the winch. But as far as the light bar goes, there is a good amount of space in between that and the winch
Nothing really noticeable, the bilstein 6112 I am running up front compensated the weight well. The bumper is really not too heavy compared to a plate bumper.
@shanerogers787 oh yea, I love the bumper. And get compliments on it all the time. I have winched off of it several times now with no issues. It’s been great so far!
@@bfm_overland thank you again , i love the look of it. Especially for the price. I want the matching rear but not sure it’s a necessity. Did you get the light bar for it or just leave it empty. I was wondering if leaving that empty you could see the winch better. I’m looking at the winch you recommended also. Glad to hear the set up works great.

@arnoldguzman6981 yes the 2s plus, it fit in there perfect without any modification!

Just commenting to get a notification for his response 😅
The Truck is looking great! Do you have a link to the winch you put on?

Did you lose any lift on the front with the added weight?

What winch did you instal?
OpenRoad 13k!
Do you think it would work with the trd pro skid plate ?
Yes it should, it doesn’t cover or change any mounting points for skid plates
@@bfm_overlandthank you. I was thinking the skid plate bolts where the new recovery points bolts up. If doing it over again would you buy it ?
