Yes, I too like frosted shredded wheat without milk. Snack food. Bree-o-sh. You had it right….just drop the e at the end.

Thank you. I'm gonna try hard to remember that pronunciation. We get that type of bread a few times a year, so it would be nice if pronounced it right 🙂

BREE-ohsh. It’s French, and it’s an dough that has eggs in it which makes it softer, denser, and is often used as a sweet bread (but also savory.) I have always enjoyed Corn Chex straight from the box. I’ve never been a fan of cereal in milk, soggy, and I stopped liking drinking milk when I was about 3. So, I’ve always eaten that plain…my favorite. We weren’t allowed sugar cereals, but that looks like knock off Lucky Charms to me! Glad you can enjoy some Latinx-ish food (my good friend from Mexico laughed at us when we shyly asked her and her husband if they wanted dinner with us (we were in the middle of making it) and I said…”it’s taco night…and it’s Old El Paso…it’s okay if you want to pass!” They found it amusing…and interesting tasting, lol. She had made us genuine Mexican food (and he had made us genuine food from his country) quite a few times…and we’d made them “real American food…pot roast, fried chicken and mashed potatoes” and it was fun to learn from each other. It was such a funny moment, and the reactions on their faces eating it were priceless! We all decided if it was Mexican food, she was going to make it! But, hey, where I lived growing up, Old El Paso and La Choy were “real foreign food, very exotic!!” Anyway, enjoy some Old El Paso enchiladas, I’d enjoy them, lol. (But, having had the “real thing” and learning how to cook it…it’s not hard…but does require the ingredients.) I’m glad you got a lot of food you and your family can enjoy.

@@CrazyAdventuresWithCoco I’m lucky to have access to an Asian and Mexican market if I want to get the real deal (and the ingredients are inexpensive, as is most of both stores…except for items you’d expect to be pricey…meat, alcohol, etc.) And, our Costco carries Kikkoman soy sauce. I do still like Old El Paso taco night, lol…it’s tradition! (But we get better shells, beans and sauce at the Mexican store…for cheaper, lol)
