  • Atlantic City Casino licensing and alleged ties to Meyer Lansky, organized crime 1979-80 news report compilation.
Meyer Lansky (born Meier Suchowlański) (July 4, 1902 - January 15, 1983), known as the "Mob's Accountant", was a major American organized crime figure who, along with his associate Charles "Lucky" Luciano, was instrumental in the development of the National Crime Syndicate in the United States.

The first casino I worked in as a craps dealer. My mother and her husband were both pit bosses there too. I got so many stories about that place, I wouldnt know where to begin. What a time to be there. Amazing place. My best friend's father brought Resorts from the Bahamas to AC - Mr. Alter was a legend. Once again - Thank YOU MOBFAX. You are my newfavorite channel on YT!

This was the 1970s and legal casino gambling was new to NJ. In some cases, people who were in charge of illegal gambling are now being put in charge of legal casino gambling because they have the experience and knowledge. Is the gaming "fair"? Are patrons being cheated? Can you count on professionally managed gaming? At some point, many of these "mobsters" crossed over into the world of legitimacy. Government commissions who do the bidding of politicians fishing for contributions are the real racketeers.

They're people that say that Meyer Lansky was never worth $300 million. That it was an exaggeration and some news man pulled this number out of the air.
Meyer Lansky was worth 300 million at one time. And I know exactly where the $300 Mill is at. All you have to do is go to Cuba and look at his old casino/ hotel the Riviera in Havana. That's where Meyer Lansky's money is at. Case solved.!!!

If it wasn't for lanskey you wouldn't have no Lucky Luciano. If Luciano used his own men to take down Salvatore maranzano their would have been a war. The fact that he had J_e-w gunman that would kill for him. Showed Lucky Luciano had untouchable muscle and this stopped Maranzanos men from fighting back. It's one thing to fight a family and it's another thing to fight two different groups of people at the same time.
