Native american here, our people did in fact sometimes use boomerangs for multiple things, hunting was the most prevelant use, though unfortunately at the time our brains were still too ooga booga to understand how to make returning ones, so they were essentially just curved bone or wood clubs that were in use before the great american way of snipers was invented. 😂
