Hey, Alan- I watched this video, and a few days later I had a service appointment at my dealer. They gleefully told me about a suspension tweak that had come through the computer overnight. They were flabbergasted that I already knew about it. “What?! How can you know? We just learned about this this morning!” I just told them “I have a guy…”. So, enjoy the fact that Oz gets updates before the States, at least this time.
Anyway, this new feature works great and is a welcome addition to the RE. Makes it a bunch easier to dismount. Even though I’m 6’5”, my inseam is only 34”.

It's unwinding the preload on the shock. Better than HD's which requires you to start the bike before it can be lowered, but still not great. These mfgs should make zero preload the default key "On" position. Then they should add a rocker switch like the windshield's to allow the preload to be adjusted to preference. This would allow shorter people to get on the bike and allow anyone to change it to their ride height of choice once underway. Shorties like me could then lower it again if needed to stop.

This feature should be totally automatic where when you start the bike it always starts in the lower position and when you reduce speed it lowers it back, also. Makes sense, right? I think someone else in the comments mentioned something similar but with a switch as well.

hey, thanks for this, but is there a way to keep the front suspension fairly stiff while keeping the rear as low as possible? My '23 1200 RE tends to nosedive when braking, presumably because I have the settings set to "comfort" to keep her as low as possible.

Sorry mate. Not that I know of. There is however also a low seat option which I have which gives you another 20mm lower seat height.

Hi. I'm not sure what you are asking me? What do you mean by configuring the counter and rev counter?

@rikko1300 do you have a new Tiger 1200. This screen is not available on the 900. I think the new Speed Tripple also has the dame dash face but that's all.
