So glad you're doing an NCT marathon, this is such an amazing group and all the songs and members are extremely talented. They have a lot of members but deserve so much appreciation and I'm sure you'll enjoy getting to hear what they have and getting to know them. 0:43 yes they're called subunits! the 4 subunits that are just apart of the one group NCT Starting off with Coming Home is soooo good, this song is beautiful and it fits the approaching holiday season. If you didn't know how NCT U works as subunit, here's a brief explanation. This is the rotational unit, every song from NCT U combines a different combination of ANY NCT member depending on who fits the concept. U stands for United. So almost every NCT U has a different line up of members. Because of this NCT U as a unit doesn't release albums, their songs are usually released on the full group albums that get released occasionally which have songs from all units. So this song here, Coming Home, was just a nice release for the holiday season with our vocalists Taeil, Doyoung, Jaehyun and Haechan. 8:41 the ending the coming home hasn't been confirmed, but nct do have a storyline/concept which is basically just that they use dreams to travel between universes and realities and often red light is used to show when stuff is fake or in dreams and blue light is supposed to be reality, so basically the idea or theory is that jaehyun wakes up and sees the flashing blue light so basically everything was a dream WayV is a great unit, they're so talented and they tend to have the sexiest sound out of all the units, but beyond that their music is very cinematic and intense. Incredible vocal line. All the members are Kun (leader), Ten, Winwin, Xiaojun, Hendery and Yangyang. Love Talk is such a smooth song, it's a classic. Very r&b and just a good time. 9:06 Ten and Lucas are 2 of the 4 NCT members in SuperM yess the others are Taeyong and Mark 11:57 the song is literally about hooking up with someone foreign lol and the "baby make it clap" line is iconic. NCT are grown men lol it always surprises people, but the group have quite a few songs that go in like this NCT Dream is such a fun unit! They're made up of the youngest members of the group. They debuted as kids in 2016 so they're music has grown and matured right a long side them. No matter how they're music has developed though, their signature is always bright, positive or encouraging. They used to have a system where as the members became adults they would "graduate" from Dream and be put into different units, but after Mark graduated in 2018, fans and the members alike didn't like the system and so in 2021 Mark came back to Dream and they cancelled that system. They're all adults now and all 7 are here to stay so if you're checking out their music and see older songs with fluctuating amount of members, that's part of why. All the members of Dream are Mark (leader), Jeno (co-leader), Renjun, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle and Jisung. Hello Future is their latest song and hands down my favorite and imo their best title track. It's structured SO beautiful, their voices are AMAZING, it's so positive and fun, it blows my mind. The whole last portion of the song from the bridge on is the most breathtaking thing I'v ever heard istg. 16:09 Yes Mark and Haechan are in NCT 127 and NCT Dream. They debuted in both in 2016 as they fit the age range for Dream 18:17 Yes that's the same voice, that's Haechan! his vocal tone is super unique and beautiful you'll definitely notice it 19:23 Those 3 voices building are Renjun, then Chenle, then Haechan. Very beautiful NCT 127 are SO talented. They're the biggest unit in size, they have 10 members (9 active members - Winwin is active with WayV instead), but they're so well rounded and hit so hard. They represent the unique, experimental sound that NCT pride themselves on most. It's a staple of theirs to have really weird and strong production. There are only 9 members here in Cherry Bomb, this was because Jungwoo was added the next year in 2018. Cherry Bomb is basically Mark's song he goes OFF here, and this is an incredible song live. Not my favorite to listen to, but I do love it and watching it is always a blast. The dance practice is so good! All the members of NCT 127 are Taeyong, Taeil, Johnny, Yuta, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Winwin (inactive in 127, but active in WayV), Jungwoo, Haechan, and Mark. 21:57 Yup Mark and Haechan here again. Those 2 are in 127 and Dream, and of course NCT U because every member of the group goes in those songs at some point. 22:10 yes this is Taeyong, the leader of 127 and all of NCT. The amount of members has fluctuated because NCT had new members to the group every year so the group has grown from like 15 to 18 to 23 for each of those songs. NCT 2021 is gearing up now so I'd recommend following that if you're interested and also checking out those songs (Switch, Black on Black, and Resonance) to see what they're all like together.

I just keep thinking about it like, how could such a unique sound come from them in this song. I'm literally obsessed. WayV's song literally surprised me, I was not expecting that, but now I am I can appreciate their work without the surprised element first. I love how versatile everyone in NCT are. Those 4 members of NCT U are actually from NCT 127. NCT 127 are very talented and well rounded. They can do any genre & SM gives then the most experimental song because NCT 127 has the best rappers, power house vocalist, unique vocalist who strong singers.
an interesting fact is that sm usually uploads the record sessions behind the scenes of their songs, and u can see that their voices don't change at all on the final work. I highly recommend the hello future uncut tho
