If you have come across Okinawan vegetables in Hawaii, it is likely that all of you immigrants from Okinawa brought them with you. Thank you to our ancestors. This vegetable is high in iron, which is why it is considered a medicine for anemia in Okinawa, along with mugwort, and it also contains insoluble and soluble fiber, which helps regulate the stomach. It is also a water-loving vegetable and can be grown hydroponically, so the roots can be produced in the same way as rosemary and sweet potatoes. In your system, it might even grow as a vegetable to grow near a drainage ditch. In the shade, though, it will be less purple. In Okinawa, it is believed that green papaya can improve the production of breast milk if eaten by women with poor milk supply after childbirth, so it is customary to make and eat green papaya and meat soup after childbirth.
