2 things 1. You look great, your hair is STUNNING 2. I like the car ALOT, especially the colour, sad that not many people will buy that colour :( green is a colour alot of manufactures offer nowadays but so many people still go for grey or silver. I hope when I see these on the road they're not all in grey or silver. Great review!!
Tish it’s been a long time since I watched one of your reviews and I must say it’s great to see how you’ve grown into it. Much much better now your relaxed and just being yourself. It was a bit of a hard watch at first. But well done you’re now very watchable, and pretty knowledgeable too.
Hi Tish, great review as usual but interestingly, when you're talking about the safety features of the car, the back drivers side door wasn't closed properly and displayed on the dashboard! Merry Christmas and keep up the good work. 🫡
I enjoy Auto Social reviews for many reasons, but a key one is your honest approach. You demonstrate this early on with your quick comment about the lack of rear wiper and then your more detailed analysis of the rear view camera. Which begs the question -- would you honestly recommend this as an option to a family member wanting an EV? Unless someone said " I must have a Volvo and I don't want the EX30 " why would you recommend this rather than one of the multitude of other EVs you have driven recently? It is overpriced and, I'd suggest, outdated. I would be recommending the Polestar 2 for a Scandi vibe, the Renault Scenic for a family vehicle with Google software and the Ionic 5 as another alternative. I appreciate reviewing can be difficult ( how can you get excited by an "updated" Ford Kuga!😂?) but a personal recommendation for this seems a tad over the top!!
Good review Tish. Regarding the rear view camera, it seems that it is mounted too close to the road surface. My Toyota CHR has two rear view cameras, one for parking and one for the digital rear view mirror (?) inside the car. Both cameras rarely get any dirt on the lenses. The 360 degree camera in my Toyota also shows what is passing underneath the car. This is very useful when parking. I wonder what the Volvos' 360 degree camera can do.
Great review Tish as always. It could be the best car in the world but unfortunately for me after having a nightmare experience and having to return an xc40 last year along with Volvos customer service towards me I would never buy one again. Still enjoyed the video though 😂
A "recharge" is preferable because a Volvo is number 1 exactly during winter ... when - also - it manifests itself the worst feature of an electric car: the fact that the cold outside "eats" the energy of the battery - which is frustrating ah. 👎 And the colour is uuuglyyy ... with that "Breaking bad" green 😃 Hmm, I wonder ... people that decide these ugly/boring colours don't conduct solid research into public's preferences ? Not to mention that a teenage child can offer a decent opinion on this matter ....😉 In other words ... don't put in charge in this kind of management positions ... people that don't have a family ... meaning wife & kids. And let them drive these cars in their daily lives ... in order to discover the flaws ... & also ... to be the target of the ironies of the wife & kids ... for the stupid things that the car has in it. 🤭
I recommend a V70, perhaps the pinnacle of the Volvo automotive history. And one of the last true Volvos. Every model starting with "E" is an insult to the heritage of that company.
@@SolarWebsite Not as hard as when a government scheme, or rather scam, collapses because the consumer does not play ball, and with it drags entire car brands in to the abyss.
For me, personally, in my opinion, Volvo are still lacking in its safety tech. On Euro Ncap the video test for this car shows the car hitting the "pedestrian" emerging from in front of a parked car. Not good enough. Mazda CX 60 phev same Euro Ncap test didn't hit the "pedestrian " maybe because more money was spent on safety rather than batteries? Don't know but one wouldn't result in a death or the possible death of a pedestrian and the trauma suffered by the driver. As I say it's just my own personal view but I know which one I'd rather choose. On a side note a Polestar 2 is similarly priced and has a better advertised range.
£52K 😱 why not test an XC40, B3, petrol mild hybrid for £35K, £17k a BIG difference, why EV’s aren’t selling or meeting the stupid 22% of yearly sales requirement, mega Price, I enjoy your reviews, but it’s clear the vast majority of private buyers don’t want EV’s companies sales and large unsustainable discounts are what has got them to 18% in ten months, also almost all car traders don’t want to take EV’s as P/X because so hard to sell on !!! PLEASE 🙏 test cars that are selling, petrol/diesel Hybrid, which must be the way to go.
If a car is too expensive, haggle or buy second hand. Volvo already sell over 22% EV's. Not every brand forgot to prepare when Boris made the zev mandate 2030. If all car brands were able to be trusted, we wouldn't have had diesel gate and the air would be cleaner already. I don't have a lot of sympathy for corporations who behave like they are above the law.

Nothing is compelling at that extortionate price
My experience is that super caring Volvo charge a lot of extra dosh for many of the safety features, I hope this has changed. Nice review.
Great insight 😊
A nice looking car both interior and exterior and a good range and being a Volvo it's very safe the only scary thing is that price 😀

I enjoyed watching the video review, the New Badging makes sense to Identify the Model as Electric 😊
Great review Tish as always.

Without a really good, reliable reversing camera that looks like a nightmare to park - such a restricted view out the back.

Change can be hard, huh?

Remind me when I get a few bob to buy the poor girl a decent pair of britches, won't you? 😅
❤❤❤🎉❤🎉❤
It is incredible that Volvo sell a sinle one of these considering the crazy price tag (on an ugly car)
No I'll keep my V70 2016, the last real Volvo
