Nice work. I also tried to copy you to learn but shades didn't come out like yours. Any specific kind of paper is used for oil pastols? I am using simple a4 printer paper

Use a good sturdy Drawing paper, also sometimes the colors may not look exactly the same on screen than in real life so it's perfectly fine.
