Jimmy! tell me the guy in the fluro gear at 00:14 isn't having a wazz in the bushes! Talk about photo bombing - this takes it to a whole new level - Great video as always
Is it weird that a mechanic is watching videos of a mechanic after a days work. 3 of them ive done this week and about 6 batteries.. as soon as the weather turns.....battery time.
Looking through my D23 Navara factory service manual, it states that pretty much all DTC's will stop Cruise Control from functioning, so it's a good sign of a problem, if it stops working. Same on most other makes too, from what I've read.
@@AdamDitheridge the old Swarfega was great stuff if you had it, the first garage i worked in didn't , i had to use the parts cleaning bucket with paraffin oil which was usually black with dirt and then rinse my hands with cold water and dry with news paper 🙂

"Have you seen this fault before"?
Never, I'm usually here just selling ice creams.
It's nice to know the customer is interested in the car and the software ect. You appreciate the mechanic and his knowledge more 🎉
Couldn't agree more!
Well done Jimmy , so satisfying to fix it for another happy customer

What did mechanics use 50 years ago for protect hands?
A cream called rosallex. Rubbedit into itto hands dried into a protective barrier
very few used anything, including myself 🙂
Just clean up after with original Swarfega. I've still got some left, from a tub bought probably 30 years ago lol
