There isn’t a show that even comes close to touching this timeless classic, being in my 60’s watching this show and letting my mind wander back to the days of the late 60’s early 70’s and growing up with this show always being on when I got home from school
My elderly mother watches the black and white episodes every single morning. And even though the station has a limited number of them, they never get old for her.
They were ALL GOOD back in that day. It's a shame you all didn't grow up with food wholesome shows like these. You missed a great time for TV. In the 1990's they am had a few good shows like "Home Improvement" but From there TV shows went downhill in quality
Seems odd that a hundred years after the Civil War and at the peak of the civil rights movement there would be a sitcom in which the characters pine for the long lost days when they could own slaves.
OMG I know. They racist. They probably vote for Trump too.

I believe only about 10% of whites had slaves, people like "Granny" and the Clampetts did not have slaves, she certainly was not pining for those days and for people like the Clampetts, the war was not about slaves.
Always worth returning to! A TV show couched in anti-urban stereotypes and pseudo-Appalachian tropes? BH is beyond and outside 2020s politics -- these "hillbillies" are exemplary liberal humanists. Animal rights in the US got a big boost from "Ellie May." True enough, the actor who played Jed was a homophobe who off-screen said vicious bigoted nasty things about "Miss Jane." And Max Baer in particular suffered from being so typecast as studly-bo-hunk that he found it difficult to work after this show ended. But so many of this cast were / are stars in their own right that in its weird way it's as important/pioneering a show on par with anything by Norman Lear.
I listen and laugh my head off .and I have seen these over and over and over again

"The war betwixt the Yankees and the Americans", LMAO!! 🤣🤣🤣
Irene Ryan (RIP) rocked as Granny! 👵
Norman Lear created this I think..Anyway it's fabulous and funny timeless comedy nothing compares.
The Beverly Hillbilly is one of my favorite TV shows to relax 😂❤
Great actors and actresses
70 year old show and will NEVER get old!
The first couple seasons were the best, black and white were FAR funnier than the color seasons...😊
Yea, I know. It was still good, but ANY show is better in black and white
They ruin the show when they put them in color (I've ALWAYS said that)
Why can't there be nice people like this now days
There still is the media just wants you to think that there isn't
Thank you for uploading these episodes! 🎉
We love the Clampetts! ❤
Sacramento, California USA 🇺🇸
Good clean fun back then.
Sad what we've become. God help us !
Why can't they make shows like these today? Love the characters and actors of these shows from the sixties
I think it’s because they’re no longer people like them anymore
Woke everything would be Racist!!@😢
Because it doesn't have sex or transgenders that's the only thing people want to see now.
Racist
Hillbilly appropriation isn't allowed.
Great to see Dr. Bellow's in this roll 😅

Most people in the old South didn’t own slaves.
And besides the North waged war on the South.
In a later episode, Granny is under the impression that it was the north that had slaves.

Everyone had people who worked for them. I wouldn’t say they were all slaves. Many would have starved if they didn’t find work.
