Thousand foot krutch refers to God as being the crutch that holds us up.. and god is in heaven which is high up, hence “thousand foot” :)

Trevor is a great vocalist...from what I saw they were also a great live band, lots of energy.

TFK has been around since 97 (technically 95 if you count the one album released under the name Oddball), with this song in particular being from 07s The Art of Breaking (album 3, which I actually own & listened to a lot growing up). Due to being a Christian Rock band it's unsurprising that not everyone has heard of them, which is a shame as they're a really good band, with vocalist Trevor McNevan having an iconic singing voice.

Love TFK. Christian band so sometimes the lyrics are too religious for my taste, but God damn they have so many bangers. Don't think they've released an album in a while miss them. Trevor the vocalist was featured in a From Ashes to New last year and damn that man still got it his voice is so unique he hits these weird high notes like no one else just beautiful.

This was released in 2005 on their 3rd studio album, The Art of Breaking. By the way, it's not your fault that you missed this song or any other of their songs due to Christian bands hardly ever getting any attention.
